Finally a warm shell

The North Face Caber Hybrid Thermal Jacket - Men's

The North Face Caber Hybrid Thermal Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 December 20, 2006

Finally I have a shell that does not need to be layered with a fleece in very cold conditions. The lining in the Caber is excellent, and the jacket looks much better than the picture suggests (the red in the picture is off - it's very nice in person - and TNF logo is gray, not white). Overall, I highly suggest this coat, great for all winter activities.

Not warm enough

The North Face Apex Free Climb Jacket - Men's

The North Face Apex Free Climb Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 1 December 19, 2006

I bought this jacket thinking it would be warm enough for Cleveland winters. let me tell you it does not even come close. Sure it looks great, but it is a fall jacket at best. Plus, little stringy things keep coming off the seams. Any anything will stain this jacket, so be careful when eating while wearing it. I only recommend buying it if you are wealthy and want to you use it only in the fall.
