Montrail Namche Mid Hiking Shoe - Men's

Montrail Namche Mid Hiking Shoe - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 August 21, 2008

Bought a pair of these and actually broke them in on the Fundy Footpath, a challenging mud-slog of a hike that features almost 50 km of hiking and 11,000 feet of elevation changes over roots, rocks, stream crossings, ravines, and off-camber trail. They aren't water proof, but they dry quickly, and not a single blister or foot problem along the whole hike. Highly recommended.

Montrail Hardrock Trail Running Shoe - Mens

I bought a pair of these, sight unseen, for a trip to the UK. I literally received them, unboxed them, and boarded my flight. With no break in, I was walking between 20 and 35 miles a day in all sorts of terrain (from urban settings to rocky hiking trails) with a 30 lb pack on my back. Two weeks later, not a single blister, and my feet are very comfy. Highly recommended. Just make sure you order a half a size larger than you normally wear.

Sweet.

I've been very impressed with these so far. I've worn them in the rain, and they work well, but they also work great over a pair of Smartwool bottoms to keep the biting east Canada wind from getting through. They weigh practically nothing, too.

Patagonia Wind Tracker Top - Men's

Patagonia Wind Tracker Top - Men's

I love my Wind Tracker. I wear it running and skiing with nothing but a thin layer of merino under it, in weather well below freezing. Never a problem. Really stretchy in the shoulders, and no bunching anywhere.
