La Sportiva Cirque Pro Approach Shoe - Men's

La Sportiva Cirque Pro Approach Shoe - Men's

Great shoe for one weekend in the Tetons. By trip's end, they were blown out on the side and the sole was wearing off fast. La Sportiva usually does better than this with their products. Unfortunately, this shoe is a lemon.

Best softshell I've ever owned.

Arc'teryx Venta AR Softshell Jacket - Men's

Arc'teryx Venta AR Softshell Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 September 26, 2008

Incredible softshell. Built with Windstopper and interior lining is very warm. This is warmer than any other softshell I've had, including the Arcteryx Gamma MX. I am extremely impressed and satisfied. Expensive, but worth ever dime if you find yourself doing a lot of winter ski tours and winter climbing.

Arc'teryx Beta AR Jacket - Men's

Arc'teryx Beta AR Jacket - Men's

I have used TNF shells, then I moved to Mtn Hardwear, this jacket is my first Arcteryx. It is the best shell I've ever owned. Lighter and more streamlined then any shell I've owned. What a product! Perfect for ski mountaineering, climbing, etc. I was concerned about what size to get. I'm 5'10" and 160 lbs. and the medium fits perfect. I use the Arcteryx Venta AR as a softshell layer. Perfect combo. Wow!
