Perfect socks

SmartWool PhD Running Ultra Light Micro Sock

SmartWool PhD Running Ultra Light Micro Sock

Rating for this product: 5 July 9, 2010

These are perfect socks. Worth $12.50 (or however much). I wear one pair for as many as 4 or 5 days in a row, no joke. No heavy sweating like with cotton socks, no stinking. I've slowly been adding more and more wool no-show socks and phasing out the terrible, inferior cotton ones.

I wear a size 9 shoe and Mediums are a perfect snug fit. Worth every penny. Get them

nice, but not for me

DAKINE Torque Long Underwear Bottom - Men's

DAKINE Torque Long Underwear Bottom - Men's

Rating for this product: 3 January 11, 2010

these seem great--probably the most comfortable fleece pants i've worn, but too skinny to wear out in public, and the vented crotch area sealed the deal--would be great for wearing under other pants/shell, prob for skiing/snowboarding. in fact, i wish more thermal baselayers had vented crotches...

Good for winter biking

SmartWool Combo Balaclava

SmartWool Combo Balaclava

Rating for this product: 4 January 7, 2010

I mostly like this thing. Super comfortable and warm as heck. I've been biking to work and get too warm with a fleece beanie over top. So today I tried with only the balaclava under my helmet and it was great. The ear holes do allow me to hear stuff, but can also be a pain when riding into the wind, it gets noisy. Anyone else experience that? I've been riding in about 10-degree windchill... so far so good.

Icebreaker Beast 150 Apollo Crew - Short-Sleeve - Men's

December 21, 2009

the color combination shows the color of the fabric (bone, jet, stone) and then the out-of-site details, like the print on the inside of the shirt (navy, red, whatever)

best shirt ever

Icebreaker Beast 150 Apollo Crew - Short-Sleeve - Men's

Icebreaker Beast 150 Apollo Crew - Short-Sleeve - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 December 21, 2009

super comfy, very slim, the "stone" color looks sharp. the "bone" (white) color is pretty sheer/see-through, so best used as an undershirt mostly. i have two of these know and would have more if people stocked them. wish places could keep them in stock--esp. in size small.

Icebreaker Beast 150 Apollo Crew - Short-Sleeve - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 July 28, 2009

yeah, the bone color is very much see-through. i just got "stone" and it is not see-through at all. size is true. if you are between sizes, size down--the athletic cut is not flattering when its baggy. the fabric is great

Swobo Merino Cycling Jersey Short-Sleeve - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 May 15, 2009

if you find yourself almost between sizes, size up. i sized up, put mine in the wash with warm water and in the drier for about 10 minutes, the fit is perfect now. so, yes, it will shrink if you want it to. really glad to have it

Mountain Hardwear Monkey Man Jacket - Men's

Mountain Hardwear Monkey Man Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 October 30, 2006

Most comfortable fleece i've ever tried - looks and fits great (in my experience, size up because sizes fit smaller/more snug than i expected). Surprisingly lightweight. I wish it had pit zips for warm days. Not much experience yet in active situations. My girlfriend keeps stealing mine too.
