I ordered a large and discovered that to fit the water bottles in one needs a size up—so I exchanged (these guys are great on exchanges). I used my XL Parka on a New Year's week climb up Colorado’s Mt. Elbert—14,000+ in high winds and snow—it is wonderful! Steep price but worth every penny for 900 fill down. Lightest-warmest parka available. Everything they describe is true—a million pockets with high quality craftsmanship. It will be the "last Parka I need to buy".

Great parka, weak hood, sized large

Outdoor Research PL 100 Glove

Outdoor Research PL 100 Glove

Rating for this product: 4 November 3, 2005

This is a wonderful winter parka with a million pockets for very cold winters. It’s sized pretty large, an XL was way too big for me at 5ft 9in. Only drawback I saw was the hood, which has no back adjustment to pull it away from your face, nor a very good way of tightening it up around the neck. The fur is removable and can be attached to the coat sans hood.
