Bio:
I have lived most of my life in Philly (go Eagles!), and moved out here to northern Virginia where my other 2 sisters and parents now also live, about 5 years ago. I love being outdoors, and wish i could be outside all the time! We live in a gorgeous, wild, untouched area near Shenadoah National Park with plenty of wildlife. I've had many encounters with bear while out hiking or even just going to get the mail...I love to walk/hike with my dog, play with my cats, garden, snowshoe, four wheel, bike and camp. But when i am stuck indoors i like watching football, hockey and old movies, going to visit and play with my nieces and nephews, and one of my favorite things to do indoors, outdoors or online...shopping! Did you think i was going to say something else? ... dirty minds...lol... ;)

Sorel Caribou Boot - Women's
February 4, 2011
I have a few pairs of Sorel boots and have always stuck with my regular size 10 (and thats what i'd reconmend to anyone to start out with, cause you can exchange it if its too big), there is a little wiggle room all around, but that is always good in case one wants to add more socks. Even with just one pair of socks on though i'm not swimming in them, and they fit just fine...But everyone is different, and with all of these different reviews it makes me wonder if there is some inconsistency in the sizing of the product itself, then again, the 3 pairs of Sorels I have all fit me exactly the same (i know thats a small sample size), but maybe some people might not know their real shoe size or are in between shoe sizes??? All you really have to do is go to their site (www.sorel.com) and click on a boot and then click on the size button and you can measure for yourself in inches or cm's what size you would be in their shoes...

Sorel Conquest Boot - Men's
January 23, 2011
I wear a size 10 womens in Sorel, so i was wondering if anyone knew what the conversion to mens would be, I've looked at the size charts on Sorel's web site and a womens 10 and mens 9 are the same measurements, but that just doesn't seem right to me since Sorel always runs a tad large and i have always been an 8 or 8.5 in other mens shoes. Also, does this boot fit true to size? I need some help...S'il vous plait?

Baffin Impact Winter Boot - Women's
January 14, 2011
I have a couple pairs of Sorel boots and i would say that this boot has a much snugger fit than the Sorels. In Sorels you always have ( or at least I do) that extra room all around for some reason. I'm a 10 in Sorel and in this boot, but the difference in this is the memory foam liner that cushions your foot all around it. In the Sorels it is just a wool or felt liner insert, and you get alot more wiggle room, but they aren't as comfortable or warm as these Baffins. Also, alot of people tend to size down one size or half a size when they buy Sorels, which it seems you do too... you said you take an 8 in them and a 9 regularly, so i would go with your regular 9 running shoe size when purchasing this Baffin boot. Hope this helps!
