Light Saber

Sage Click Series Fly Reel

Sage Click Series Fly Reel

Rating for this product: 5 May 15, 2012

I absolutely love fishing this reel. Slapped on my Sage XLT 3wt, this is the perfect set up for small water and dry fly fishing. With no real drag system it forces you to play the fish the old school guys would, wish your hand. Adds another dimension of fun and gives ya a little old school credibility...heh. Regardless, it's super light weight and fun to catch fish on.

High end, low price

Redington Sonic-Pro Wader Zip Front - Men's

Redington Sonic-Pro Wader Zip Front - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 May 15, 2012

I haven't gotten to use these too much yet but when I've used them I've been nothing but impressed by them. They feel like the highest of high end waders, their fit is perfect and the waterproof zipper design is the best to date when it comes to getting in and out or having a riverside tinkle. They feel durable are quite comfortable and you can't beat the price for that high end of a wader.

Silky Niceness

Cocoon Travelsheet Couplers

Cocoon Travelsheet Couplers

Rating for this product: 4 May 15, 2012

Just ordered these for a upcoming trip to Bali and I was pleasantly surprised by the size and spaciousness of the cocoon. I'll wait to see how it keeps out the little buggies but for the most part it feels really breathable and really comfortable.

Do you like sweat pants?

Arcade Standard Belt

Rating for this product: 5 May 10, 2012

Well that's obviously a rhetorical question because everyone I know loves sweat pants. Guess what, Arcade belts make all your belts feel like sweat pants. Their stretchy to comfortably ride your waist in any hip hugging style you may choose. They'll easily hold up your snow pants, your weighted down cargo shorts, your skinny jeans and even a speedo with belt loops. They're as comfortable as a hug from Grandma, as tough as a 2 dollar steak and have more style than that guido guy you always see drinking jager and fist pumping to dubstep.

Hestra XCR Short Glove

Hestra XCR Short Glove

Rating for this product: 5 January 3, 2012

These are the gloves I go to super-wet coastal snow days, for snowmobiling, climbing or generally when the chance to have extremely wet hands would be probable. These are the Hestra's to go for if you want to stay super dry.

So friggin fun.

Salomon Rocker 2 Ski

Salomon Rocker 2 Ski

Rating for this product: 5 December 15, 2011

I started skiing these last year and wow oh wow did they change the way I look at the mountain. After spending numerous years on 2x4's with bases, the Rocker 2's showed me how much fun it is to have a ski that pops off of any little bump in site, turns on a dime, is effortlessly predictable and skis with a ton of energy. I pretty much skied them 98% of my days last year. So dang fun!

Salomon Rocker 2 Ski

Rocker2 is more predictable and a little more nimble than the s7 in my opinion. The s7 does slightly better on groomers but I find it very unpredictable and hooky in pow and crud.

Salomon Rocker 2 Ski

December 12, 2011

Hey Paul, the Rocker2 is in my opinion the most versatile pow ski out there. It's super quick, nimble as a mouse and skis with a ton of energy. It even carves well on groomers (well, for a super fat ski that is).

Hit the nail on the head

Salomon El Dictator Ski

Salomon El Dictator Ski

Rating for this product: 5 September 25, 2010

Considering I've spent the last two years testing, designing and skiing on this ski, I'll just add that the textual review hit the nail on the head. The El Dictator is the ski designed to ski to go faster, stomp bigger airs and generally charge harder through any and all conditions. It's by far my favorite ski I've ever skied on.
