Just entirely too long

DAKINE Concourse Double Ski Bag

Very well constructed as all Dakine products are. Bought the 200cm with the idea of carrying extra gear along with skis. Unless you're skiing long cross country or 200+ cm downhill skis you just don't need anything near this big. Without internal structure supports my 181cm and wife's 167cm skis left the bag floppy and bowing down the middle making it very difficult to keep the bag on it's wheels. We tried multiple packing variations and were still just dragging it on the belly. It was so unmanageable we left it at home. Can only imagine the issues with size at the airline ticket counter, especially after reading the comments here. Will consider the shorter Dakine bag but even that seems as though it will be too long for today's shorter, shaped skis.

DAKINE 60/40 Convertible Rolling Gear Bag - 9300cu in.

VERY well constructed as all Dakine products are....but, not user friendly. Large enough that it's easily packed over 50lb airline restrictions. Use of convertible as carry on not at all convenient and packed, even with distributing weight at bottom, very difficult to keep standing on end. Returning and will replace with large duffel or traditional suitcase.
