Swix Cera Nova CH Wax

December 1, 2011

Yellow will work better for warmer conditions. If it is above 25 F then this will be perfect!

Swix Cera Nova CH Wax

December 1, 2011

Andrew it correct. CH4 is the coldest. But while he said "if you are really concerned about top speed as soon as you start skiing, you can brush with a nylon to top it off" the way to really get the fastest skis would generally be to put some sort of graphite on before hand or at least brush with a black and then blue fine brush.

Salomon XA Pro 3D Ultra 2 GTX Trail Running Shoe - Men's

Salomon XA Pro 3D Ultra 2 GTX Trail Running Shoe - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 November 29, 2011

I've had these shoes since Christmas 2009. Best Christmas present ever. I live in Fairbanks, AK and these are the best shoe I've found for walking around campus (I'm a student at UAF). They are super warm and keep your feet 100% dry. I've run through creeks in these and even though water comes in through the ankle my toes almost never get wet.

To sum it up: An amazing shoe that works great for a long time and looks good while doing it.

Salomon SpeedCross 3 Trail Running Shoe - Men's

November 29, 2011

I've been using these as my normal everyday kicks for 3 months now and they are getting pretty worn. I haven't been running in them since I run on roads and hardpacked trails most of the time and have different shoes for that. But to answer your question, I would say they are very grippy. They are awesome if you are doing any sort of uphill racing in wet, messy conditions.

Stoic Merino 150 Bliss Shirt - Short-Sleeve - Men's

November 29, 2011

Depends on how you want to wear it. it stretches easily without getting tight so you can get away with it being a little small. I'm 6'1'' 175lb and have 2 of these in Meduim. The large would probably fit you well.

Stoic Welder Hi Softshell Jacket - Men's

November 29, 2011

I think the Medium would fit you well. I'm 6'1'' 175 and have the large. I the sleeves are pretty long so they large might be to big for you.

I'm looking at the Dynafit TLT Vertical ST 92mm and I'm wondering if they will fit or not. The skis are 96 at the waist.

K2 Kung Fujas Ski

November 29, 2011

If you love ripping the groomers and thats what you want from your skis go with the 179s. Managing the trees will take a little more out of your legs but they'll tear up the corduroy like a champ.
