Wilderness Systems Tsunami 145 Touring Kayak
June 22, 2010
The 145 is a higher volume boat than the 140. It is 6" longer and the beam is 0.5" wider. The cockpit is also deeper. A good choice for heavier or larger paddlers. My wife (at 150#) has the 140 and I (at 220#) have the 145. Even though the 140 is actually a better fit for me, my weight and need to carry lots of camping equipment made the 145 a better choice for me. You can install a rudder on these boats.

Marmot Sharp Point Softshell Jacket - Men's
February 12, 2010
Thanks Mike. I ended up going with the MH Alchemy since many people seem to think it is a bit more "fitted" than the Sharp Point and tends to be on the short side as far as length (good for us short muscular guys!). I have been wearing it for the past few weeks and am very happy with it. The waist is only slightly baggy and long and the arms are long for me, but this is always the case for any XL - XL+ size I end up with. Glad I went with the Alchemy. Thanks for the feedback!

Marmot Sharp Point Softshell Jacket - Men's
January 8, 2010
I will post this under the MH Alchemy item description as well. I am debating between the Marmot Sharp Point and the MH Alchemy sofshell jackets. I have items from both manufacturers and have always been very happy with their products. I would like to wear the jacket with one or two thin base layers for winter activites. My body type is hard to fit: 5'7", 215# muscular/weight-lifting induced physique with 48" chest, 33/34" waist, 17 1/2" neck, and 33" sleeve length. I normally take at least an XL size top in performance type clothing.
I know the Sharp Point has the pit zips which are a great feature but I am more concerned about overall fit and comfort.
Any comments or suggestions regarding which jacket and/or size are most welcome!
