Chaco Z/1 Unaweep Sandal - Backcountry.com Exclusive - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 June 4, 2009

These are great sandals. I was initially worried the straps might be uncomfortable, but after a little bit of proper adjustment, they are hardly noticeable. If I had one complaint it would be that the footbed is a little rough at first but they smooth out quickly and become very comfortable. This is my first pair of Chacos. Compared to a pair of Keen Newport H2's that I've worn the last couple of summers, I find the Chacos definitely breathe much better due to having much less material. They also don't pick up much odor at all, while I found my Keens needed to be washed frequently. The Chacos are a little bit heavier, but it's hard to notice while wearing. Overall, this was a great buy, and I expect they'll last a long time due to very solid construction. The exclusive green color is an added bonus so they stand out from the growing number of people wearing Chacos these days.
