These were perfect under my ski pants. The inside is a little bit textured and I think that helps trap even more heat. They were very comfortable and lightweight. I did not feel the cold at all on the lift or while skiing in 20F-35F weather.

Actually fit perfectly

Spyder Circuit Pant - Women's

I checked the size chart before I ordered, and I fell right into the size 8 range, so I ordered the 8-S, even though I usually wear a size 6 in most clothing brands. They were a perfect fit with a layer of the Marmot Midweight Bottoms underneath, not too tight, not too loose, with a little bit of extra room in the waist for tucking in a sweater if I wanted to. The Short length was perfect for me too - I'm 5'3". The fabric is smooth like a peach and just feels great to the touch.

They look fabulous and cool on, not too tight but pretty streamlined, even though they have a thin layer of insulation. The insulation and outer fabric kept me completely dry and warm through five days of skiing and falling down in 25-35F weather. Absolutely fabulous!

Perfect for snow

Columbia Lavela 2 Winter Boot - Women's

I brought these to Telluride, CO for a ski trip, and they kept my feet incredibly warm and dry off the slopes. They were the only shoes I needed all week. I usually wear a size 7.5 or 8 and ordered the 8. They were a little loose with thin socks but perfect with ski socks.
