    I was born and raised in Wyoming on the edge of the Big Horn Mountains. I grew up mountain biking, fly fishing, backpacking, hiking, and snowshoeing in Wyoming and Montana. After joining the Navy at 18 years of age, I had a chance to live in San Diego and Seattle, as well as visiting a few foreign countries. After working a couple years outside of D.C., I'm now living and working in Minnesota.

Dimensions approximately 15"x10". Very large hydration compartment that zips closed. It is a very slim compartment though and may be difficult to fit a completely full bladder.

As you can see, the fabric is very stretchy. I used 2 32oz bottles for example.

Do to the new linelock compression straps that go across this pocket, I am no longer able to strap my z-rest here vertically. On the Nimbus Ozone and the Vapor Flash, this was the perfect place for attaching it. The linelocks apparently cannot be quickly removed and re-attached easily.

11oz fuel bottle in upper side stretch pocket. These pockets would be great for stuffing rain gear, cliff bars, camera. Also a great place to store misc. items if you decide to leave the top floating compartment behind.

Lower stretch pocket fits 32oz/1L water bottles with ease.

From the pictures online, I thought this pack had sections of black based on the pictures. Here's the Trace I just received in the mail with a black jacket strapped to it so you can see the difference. It's actually a dark grayish/blue color. Looks a little different under different lights, really plays tricks on the eyes... either way, it's AWESOME

I bought this tent for 2 reasons:

#1 - I wanted a lighter tent for 3 season solo outings. At 3lbs 14oz this was a great improvement that still provided me with optimal room and storage space. I found this to be one of the best tent designs as far as utilizing internal space availability. Specifically, the pole layout proved very affective at opening up head room.

I found this tent to be plenty sturdy. I was in two downpours and one windstorm. I stayed completely dry, and since then have re-coated the bottom seams to prevent any possible leaks.

#2 - Great deal - In making a decision between the Sierra Designs Lightning and this tent, I found a sale on craigslist for well under the price. Couldn't pass it up!

Overall, for the purpose and price of this tent, the Hubba Hubba is outstanding. If you keep in mind you aren't buying a tent to outlive gale force winds and a monsoon, you'll have a great experience staying in this valued shelter 2-3 seasons a year.

The Jetboil is perfect for my backpacking needs. It is more compact than my MSR Whisperlite and pots combined, and it is quick and easy setup and store.

It simply rocks.

Yes, you could use this in winter. I wouldn't recommend it for high altitude outings, where you would be expecting heavy winds or heavy snow, but this will definitely work fine for light snow fall, low altitude winter outing. I've used my 2 person 3 season MSR hubba hubba in the winter before and it worked just fine. With the mesh walls though, it is going to be a lot colder than the 4 season tents you can find.

Yes, this will work for an overnighter, if you have very lightweight and compact gear, only bring the minimum, or share the load with a friend. I use a 1343cu in pack for my overnighters, which barely holds everything, so adding another 500cu in will be enough.

The Zeus is 12oz, from what I can find. You will definitely stay warm at those temperatures in any of these jackets (made need to add a layer or 2 if closer to 0F). I would look at what is more important to you: lightweight or more durable. I personally always go for lighter jacket. I am never walking through thick brush while wearing my down jacket. If I am, I'm going to have on a solid out layer so i don't snag it on anything.

Yeah you can wear the boxer briefs with shorts,, they are not too long. As far as long distant hiking, it tends to be a personal preference for the boxer briefs vs boxer shorts. I own 2 pairs of the boxer shorts and they are extremely comfortable. I just recommend what you are use to wearing.

There should be a compartment inside the pack, made specifically for putting a hydration bladder (sold separately). It would be up against the frame, or closest to your back when wearing the pack. The hydration bladders come with a hose that runs through a small hole out the top of the pack, and then usually clips to a shoulder strap.

I have the talon 22 m/l (1343 cu in), and i would go with the size small (1200-2400). On occasion i use the talon 22 for a lightweight overnighter, and when i do i generally have a few things strapped to the outside. The small would be perfect for that situation.. or you can cinch it down for smaller loads. The XS has a max of 1200, so that would be too small

Every representative on Marmot's website has said yes, that you can zip them together. "Any of Marmot's right-zip and left-zip bags can be zipped together."

I just pulled my arroyo out,, and if you have both zippers all the way at the bottom, and pull the bottom zipper section away from the zipper, it will come out, allowing you to zip into the other sleeping bag.

Wright & McGill Co. Essentials Breathable Waders

I'm really happy with this purchase. I've previously owned and used neoprene waders which don't breath and tend to be a little more difficult to walk in. I picked up a pair of these, and I absolutely love them. They are lightweight, breathable, and easy to walk in. The hand warmers have come in handy for cooler evenings when you've had your hands in and out of the water, unhooking a brown, brook, or rainbow trout. The pocket has come in handy too. I used to use a fly vest, but found using the osprey talon 22 works a lot better for me. With the pocket on these waders, I can fit 2 fly boxes and my camera for easy access. They wades are pretty durable too. Here in minnesota, I've had to walk through a lot of thick grass and brush. Several times I've walked through some thorns, and yesterday I stumbled into a jagged stick. I was certain i would have put a hole in them, but they are still watertight. I'm still extra careful, as I know a thinner breathable fabric is going to be a lot easier to puncture.

I am 5'11" 160lbs, and went with the large. I tried on the medium, which were way too short and too tight. For anyone 6'1" or taller, you will want to go with an XXL.

This is a great deal though, great company, and a well made wader. I highly recommend these.

The Tent fly is about 13" x 5" and the body is about 10" x 5". I have a few more pictures of it attached to the Osprey Talon 22 pack. You can search that on this site to find them. I'm adding a couple more pictures right now.

Not sure about Green Bay.. Best way to do this is click "chat now" in the upper right. Ask the associate if you can order both sizes, and return the one that doesn't fit, with free shipping. Backcountry far surpasses any other customer service. You pay for both up front, but you get to choose the right size, and return the other for free.
