3.5 is a UK size. Or a US size 4.5, or a 22.5/23 mondopoint. In other words, a really small size.

Take a look at the Dalbello Proton series. Instep is fairly roomy.
Diablo Race Pro is not high in the instep, and neither are any race type boots.

Nordica Speed Machine 10 Ski Boot - Men's

The boot cuff tilts side to side by a couple of degrees so it can be adjusted to match your lower leg shape. Lower legs are not generally straight, most bow out a couple of degree relative to the foot. Getting this adjustment correct means a flatter, more neutral ski that turns easier.

Salomon Falcon CS Pro Ski Boot - Men's

The Salomon Integral series is about ten years old now, but they were pretty well made boots. Forward lean was high, and the boot board has a two level ramp (like a dress shoe) so footbeds are not the easiest to interface. If this pair is in good condition, and you ski on longer, straighter skis, it should perform well.

Yes, the Dalbello Proton 12. It is about the same in flex, but wider and has great performance for wider, higher volume feet.
