I got the lilac in a large and am quite pleased with it. I wear it over a tanktop because it, like the white, is see-through. The texture is smooth and touchably lovely, and thus far, I've found that I'm able to wear it at warm temps for a bit of protection, both indoors and out. I have yet to test it at colder temperatures.

No Leg Muscles?

Backcountry.com Overhang Pant - Women's

Backcountry.com Overhang Pant - Women's

Rating for this product: 3 August 24, 2009

I ordered a women's large in these pants, influenced by the lovely things that my male roommate proclaimed about the men's softshell pant from Backcountry.com, thinking that perhaps the picture was showing a smaller size. I found that the "Loose 3-D ergonomic fit" was a little less loose about my muscular biking legs than I would have liked. I could feasibly have kept them, but prefer less constriction for climbing and biking. If you like your pants pretty contoured and have legs on the slimmer side, I'd recommend you check these out. I do think the pockets on the side are a bit weird though, like strange pouches. The fabric and utility seem awesome, and I would enjoy a looser cut if backcountry.com made another version of these pants.
