Medium guava green

Medium guava green

The North Face Osito Fleece Jacket - Women's

September 2, 2010

This is a medium sized guava green jacket on. I am wearing a fleece pullover underneath it and it is comfy and doesn't feel tight in the arms at all. I'm 5'7"/130 and medium fits nicely.

The North Face Hope Point Full-Zip Hooded Jacket - Women's

September 2, 2010

This is pretty much equivalent to sweat jacket material, you'll freeze in it by itself, good for fall or layering, but not for winter at all.

Nice, but nothing outstanding

The North Face Hope Point Full-Zip Hooded Jacket - Women's

The North Face Hope Point Full-Zip Hooded Jacket - Women's

Rating for this product: 4 September 2, 2010

If you think this jacket will keep you warm in the winter, think again. This would work under another jacket, but it is pretty thin. I thought it would be more of the softshell material, but it is more of a sweatshirt type material, although better than that. It is silky feeling, 90% polyester, so it doesn't have that cotton shirt feel to it. I ordered a large, but really should have stuck with a medium. I'm 5'7", 130 ish, I thought this would be more form fitting and wanted it roomy, but a medium would have been best. Still, with a fleece shirt underneath it, it will be fine. The sleeves are plenty long enough, so that is nice. The vine print is pretty cool, although in the picture, it looks like the background white is bright white, but in reality it is more of an off white. It is a cute jacket, but I would have been bummed if I paid full price for it.

My kid doesn't have to wear bibs now

Columbia Woodstock Kitten Pant - Girls'

Columbia Woodstock Kitten Pant - Girls'

Rating for this product: 5 January 2, 2009

Okay, I have an 8 year old and she is skinny, slim pants all the time. She has had to wear bib stuff because the snow pants would fall down. I saw these and made her try the 7/8 size on. At first I was bummed, because there was a good 2-3 inch space, meaning the pants would fall down. But because they were black I didn't see the velcro pull tabs, but when I pulled those tight to make the waist smaller, they fit good enough for her. Normal waist on pants is 24 inches, pulled tight with velcro brings it to 22. Inseam is about 23 inches. The are nice quality pants.
