Low rise -- poor wheelchair pants

Columbia Lake Geneva Cargo Pant - Women's

Columbia Lake Geneva Cargo Pant - Women's

Rating for this product: 2 January 12, 2009

These have plenty of pockets low on the leg, including two below the knees, so I thought they'd be good for travel that included using a wheelchair in airports. But the seat includes pockets with thick metal snaps (uncomfortable to sit on), and the very low rise gets even lower while sitting. A long sweater provided coverage for most of the trip, but not for passing through security -- embarrassing. If you are very fit and don't mind a cool breeze on your belly and upper butt, these are the pants for you.
