K2 ObSETHed Alpine Ski
December 4, 2010
I am 6'5", 225lbs, aggressive skier, have the last model in a 189 mounted at +2. Very fun ski, but the tips seem to dive on me in anything more than 6 inches. Just picked up the new model of the ski and would like to try to avoid that problem if possible. Would mounting closer to traditional help this problem at all by creating more area to float up front?? Boot size is a 29.5, probably not going to be riding switch on these

They make two different boots that are almost exactly the same. The boot with XTM in teh description has the 600g of Thinsulate insulation and the other one has 200g. The XTM boot also is slightly higher on the ankle.

Volkl Gotama Alpine Ski
April 9, 2009
Im 6'6, 230lbs, i want to get a ski in teh 100-110 range underfoot primarily for skiing powder days. I ski the K2 Recon 184 as my everyday ski for bumps, groomers, etc. I am looking at the Volkl Gotama, K2 Obsethed and possibly the Dynastar XXL. Anyone have any info as to which would be the best fit?
