These goggles rock BUT...

Oakley Crowbar Goggle

Oakley Crowbar Goggle

Rating for this product: 5 May 20, 2009

I really love these goggles. I have never had fog issues even after long hikes and they fit around my helmet or my hat. I really recommend these goggles to everybody. BUT i would also consider waiting until the beginning of the 09/10 season for the OAKLEY SPLICE to come out, they are like the Crowbar but with a wider nose opening for a snugger fit.

Skullcandy Ink'd Bud Headphones

Skullcandy Ink'd Bud Headphones

Rating for this product: 4 May 20, 2009

These headphones are good and very expendable. After several months the cord started to sever internally near the input jack but at the low price for the sound quality, I don't mind having to replace them once or twice every year.

4FRNT Skis EHP Alpine Ski

May 3, 2009

I'm 6'3" and 145 lbs. I own a pair of EP Pros and I'm considering these in the 193cm as an everyday ski. I know many would consider this a powder ski, but I like my skis fatter. Are they a good option as an all mountain ski at Alta and Snowbird?

Iron Vise for your Feet

Marker Duke Ski Binding

Marker Duke Ski Binding

Rating for this product: 4 May 3, 2009

I really love these bindings. After the proper adjustments i have never released when I shouldn't have. they are great all around, in bounds and out. The only flaw I could possibly point out is their weight compared to other
AT bindings.

Super Awesome

Backcountry.com Shift Welder Hoody - Men's

Backcountry.com Shift Welder Hoody - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 May 3, 2009

I ended up scoring one of these at the end of the Big LePowski and I haven't used my old jacket since. It is incredibly light and amazingly durable. Ive gotten caught in trees and brush that would have reduced my old jacket to tatters but BC.com jacket is unscathed. It is also entirely waterproof and wind proof. but definitely layer up on cold days, it doesn't carry much insulation, but it is after all just a shell.

Black Diamond Method Alpine Touring Boot - Men's

Black Diamond Method Alpine Touring Boot - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 May 3, 2009

I ended up getting a pair of these after the touring latch broke on a pair of Tecnica Agent AT boots I had recently bought. This was possibly the best accident that ever happened to me considering I ended up with much better boots! To start, the methods are incredibly comfortable, I never had them heat molded at a shop because they simple molded to my foot on my first day out. They are fantastically water-proof, even on the soggiest of days my feet have remained dry while the rest of me hasn't. the only thing i might recommend is getting the alternate soles that are DIN standard, so you can use them on non-touring bindings if you have a multi-ski quiver. I havent tried them, but i assume that the BD Factors are even better on top of being stiffer.
