Stomping Grounds:
Generally - Tyler Mill for biking, Sleeping Giant for hiking, Ski Butternut for skiing. -
Bio:
I used to spend ALL of my time working on cars, racing, etc... occasionally I'd get out for a hike or mountain-bike ride or go skiing. I enjoyed it but it was so random. I did work out in the gym on a regular basis though and never really was "out of shape". But did get to 206 which is plump for me, being 5'10".
After 10 years of wrenching and spending tons of cash on my car, I got rid of it and slowly started to do more healthier hobbies, enjoying the outdoors more and more. Now I am still in the gym (usually on my lunch-break) but I try to get out at least two times a week. Either I'm at Ski Butternut making some early morning runs, or at Sleeping Giant going for a hike, or riding on my '07 Stumpjumper Pro MTB or '05 Roubiax road-bike.
Now I'm 167 lbs, fit as can be, looking to improve every aspect of my life.... I have two things to blame for this: My 2 year old daughter, who makes me want to stick around as long as I can. And I partially blame my "gear" for it. The gear that I purchase inspires me to get out and use it, test it out, have fun with it.
Backcountry.com is evil because it is so addicting, but it is a savior in the end.

Salomon Snowclog 3 - Men's
December 21, 2008
Seems like everyone recommends going bigger. I usually wear a 10.5, but sometimes take an 11 depending on the shoe. Would you recommend going to an 11 or an 11.5 in my case?
