Joystick Sauce Ski Pole

September 3, 2009

Depends on a couple of variables- jibbers typically run shorter poles, to give you a reference- I am 5'10" and ski with 48" (120cm), if i were a jibber, I'd probably run 44" (110cm) I'd suggest you get the 125cm...or 130's if you can find them...you can always cut em' down,,,you can't make em longer!

Salomon Ghost boot rocks!

Salomon Ghost Ski Boot - Men's

Salomon Ghost Ski Boot - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 September 2, 2009

I was seriously reluctant to ski in a two buckle ski boot- but to my surprise, these boots have turned out to be the best boots I have ever owned. They also are one of the only boots that I have not had to have extensive work done to, I put in my footbeds, and I was good to go! Killer boot-period.

O'Neill Superfreak Pant - Men's

O'Neill Superfreak Pant - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 April 23, 2009

Yep, pretty much loved these things all year. Great resort pant, not too heavy to tour in, stylish, not too baggy, not to tight, just right.

Great Day touring pack

Black Diamond Bandit with Avalung Winter Pack - 690cu in

Black Diamond Bandit with Avalung Winter Pack - 690cu in

Rating for this product: 4 January 8, 2009

Work perfect with Backcountry Access Tour Shovel System, or most other shovels. Put your hydration pack in there, you have room for skins, a layer, gogs, gloves, and what other small essentials you'll need. Simple ski carrying system seems to work nicely, don't think it would work so hot with a snowboard. So far so good, i am stoked on its performance so far

My go-to goggle

Scott Alias Limited Edition Goggles

Scott Alias Limited Edition Goggles

Rating for this product: 5 December 8, 2008

The Alias goggle is what a goggle should be, simple styling, great fit and best of all the preform. Imagine that. To top it off, they do have some of the best graphic/treatment options, the Schmuck Taylor and the Pub Crawl are my fav's. The Chrome Amp lense is a great all around lense, that works great most of the time, the do have a low light lense, but is hard to get your hands on, I believe 1-800-PRO-LENS sells them.
