Bio:
Bruce Gilman has been an avid mountaineer for the past forty years. During college (1973-1977) he supported himself by doing research and development for Kelty Mountaineering, tuning bikes at Kelty Cyclery, and building packs at Wilderness Experience. These were hell-raising days, testing prototype gear for Great Pacific Iron Works, North Face, and MSR; days before Kelty's numerous corporate buy-outs, when Mr. Kelty still came into the shop; days of free climbing, skiing, and partying with friends whose nicknames reflected their personalities-- Mad Dog, Excess, The Nurse. Bruce received his Master's degree from California Institute of the Arts and, in succession, three government grants that allowed him to travel in Brazil, India, and China.

Aside from head room, floor space, and weight, how does this tent compare with MSR's Mutha Hubba? Which gets you more bang for your buck?
