Sierra Designs Down Moccasin Slipper - Women's

Sierra Designs Down Moccasin Slipper - Women's

Rating for this product: 2 December 27, 2011

With one previous review questioning the sizing, I confirmed sizing with Customer Service to let them know my wife was a size 6.5 and they recommended the medium. This barely fit her and because the opening for the foot is so small, she had to tug them on with the loops in back of the slipper to get them on. One of them ripped out after only one day. These really should have been designed with some elastic or ties in the ankle area for greater ease of getting on.

It should be noted that when I called Backcountry for a return for this issue, they promptly took care of me to my satisfaction!

Asolo TPS 520 GV Boot - Men's

June 1, 2010

I have owned another pair of Asolo boots and they ran a little narrow. I have a 9D shoe size, so when I got a pair of the 520's, I got a wide and they fit perfectly.

Bike/XC Ski Tight

CW-X Insulator Stabilyx Tight - Men's

CW-X Insulator Stabilyx Tight - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 January 9, 2010

I use tights for running, XC skiing and biking. The CW-X has a very good feel compared to most tights. For running and XC skiing, I would wear long underwear if it is under 20 degrees F. They do not have very good wind resistance. I would not recommend for biking, because of the tight fit, it feels very restrictive wearing chamois padded compression shorts underneath them. My favorite tight for biking is a LG Oslo. They also provide a great feel when used as long underwear under a ski pant for downhill skiing.

Sizing - I am 5'10", 160 pounds and medium is a great fit. When I first looked at these I thought, "no way" they would fit, but the sizing chart appears to be correct.

La Sportiva Cirque Pro Approach Shoe - Men's

La Sportiva Cirque Pro Approach Shoe - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 July 16, 2009

I did not see the poor construction issues others have brought up, I wore these in the Teton's climbing as well for 4 straight days and they held up fantastic. They are so comfortable, I use these as street shoes as well.
