Best shirt for fall/winter

The North Face TKA 100 Microvelour Glacier 1/4-Zip Top - Men's

The North Face TKA 100 Microvelour Glacier 1/4-Zip Top - Men's

Thsis is my go to shirt from now on. It is incredibly light and warm. The comfort is just outstanding for any activity. You can go it alone or wear as a baselayer.

I'm retiring some of my old shirts cause they don't get pulled out of the closet anymore.I have 4 of these now in different colors.

Awesome summer shirt

Columbia Silver Ridge II Plaid Shirt - Long-Sleeve - Men's

Columbia Silver Ridge II Plaid Shirt - Long-Sleeve - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 September 10, 2009

Best shirt yet for fly fishing or simply hiking in the summer sun. This shirt feels the best of any I've bought yet!! I own a Simms, Orvis & Patagonia fly fishing shirts. The Patagonia Island Hopper is the only shirt close in comfort but no SPF protective factor. I am going to buy another Silver Ridge II in a different color for wearing on my motorcycle. It's that comfortable and light weight. Feels better than my cotton shirts against the skin. Awesome Columbia.

Awesome for the sale price

Pentax DCF SP Series Binocular

Pentax DCF SP Series Binocular

Rating for this product: 5 April 24, 2008

I researched many optics before choosing these 10X43 SP's by Pentax. I also own a pair of Eagle Optics old Platinum Rangers
by Celestron 8X42 & Vortex Fury 8X28 that are fantastic as well.. The Pentax Sp's were given great reviews by several sources on the Internet. I also spoke to some optics experts in person as well. These optics are very bright and offer lots of value for the money. Here are 2 links anyone should lookat if choosing new sports binoc's. what I like best is the quality and feel of them. It doesn't hurt that the sales price from Backcountry was 200.00 less than retail, beating anyone else on the web including Eagle Optics by over $100.00
