Arc'teryx Micon Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 December 30, 2011

This baby is my new girl friend and all she does is PERFORM!

I used this jacket today at snowbird with variable conditions (ie: hail pellets, rain, and strong winds.) and it was a fortress of warmth. The windstopper halted the wind right in it's tracts. I love the venting system with the powder guards. I opine Arcteryx have always skimped in inner pocket department, but this jacket does a little better that most other Arcteryx shells. I know I have the Kappa Hoody, the Atom LT, the Sidewinder, and the Scorpion.
The fit is amazing. I love the detail that and work that they have put into good fitting.

The only thing that I dislike is the jacket's zipper will poke me in the face if I do not have it all the way zipped up. Mildly annoying, but the great outweighs this small discomfort.

The attached pic is of the conditions it excelled in, not of the jacket itself.

Nordica Patron Ski

Nordica Patron Ski

Rating for this product: 5 December 30, 2011

I have had this ski for about 2 weeks and I have a pass to Snowbird and Alta. This season (thus far) has been a shit-show for snow conditions but this ski has held an edge surprisingly well on the groomers and it busts through the crud so hard. I really loved skiing them today (despite the hail). I have had fun buttering and popping off cat tracks and natural features. I skied the Surface Live Life as my powder ski last year. I am 6'2 and 160 pounds and I am skiing the 193. Can't wait to let them rip on a powder day!
