This one works on most SUVs, so it should be fine on there. I also think it will work fine with the top tube on your bike. If not, though, the Top Tube Frame Adapter will work wonders.

These are more paddle/water oriented shoes, so you probably want something more for hiking. My favorite hiking shoes are the Salomon XAs. They're durable and have a Gore-Tex (waterproof) option. They're also the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn.

The welder isn't as waterproof as the bombshell, so for those activities I'd recommend the bombshell. It also has a powder skirt, whereas the welder doesn't.

The 11 ft isn't available, but I think it weights about 29.5 lbs because the 10'6" comes in at 27 pounds and the 11'6" comes in at 32 pounds.

If by lined you mean there is insulation throughout the entire jacket, then yes. The whole jacket is polyester lined with down fill.

I have skinny feet and they take up pretty much the whole footbed of my Z/2s (actually wearing them as I write this). I'd say that if they fit and were comfortable, go for them. There's a good chance the salesperson didn't know what they were talking about, and you can't go wrong with ordering them from backcountry. Best site, customer service, and return policy.

If you're going to use it for skiing, or really anything too serious, I wouldn't go with the basic TNF Apex. I was not pleased with the fit of mine, so I upgraded to one in the summit series, which is more geared toward people who actually wear them in the backcountry as opposed to those who wear them on the street. That being said, the apex and the gamma mx are both softshells, whereas the strato is a fleece (which would be fine for layering, but maybe not for the backpacking/mountain biking.) If you want it to layer, backpack, and bike, I'd go with the Gamma MX softshell or a comparable TMF or MHW softshell. I have softshells in all three brands, and love them all - they'd all meet your needs.

It will probably lose the water resistance if exposed to a source of water for a longer period of time (like in the back of your truck in the rain). You probably want to try it out at home before you trust it.

If by "get the most for" you mean size, then you will probably want to go with either the one above or the Thule Atlantis 2100 XT. They're both 21 square feet, which will add a lot of space! Personally, I usually prefer Thule, which is the one on sale in this case. The Yakima one does have a lifetime warranty as opposed to the 1 year warranty from Thule. The Yakima one has a new, more aerodynamic design to reduce the drag you feel from it being on top of your car. Essentially, they will do about the same thing, so it comes down to preference and price.
