Icelantic Shaman Alpine Ski

Icelantic Shaman Alpine Ski

Rating for this product: 4 March 23, 2009

The massive tip on these skis keeps them floating on deep days while a 110mm underfoot lets you sink into the snow a little to ensure face shots for days. The construction is a little different(p-tex sidewalls) but so far they have held up great. Overall a fun ski!

Rossignol S7 Caballero Alpine Ski

Rossignol S7 Caballero Alpine Ski

Rating for this product: 5 February 23, 2009

This ski is very versatile. It's early rise tip and 115 underfoot width help to keep the ski floating on powder. The ski has some side-cut that allows the ski to carve on the groomers while making your way back to the lift. The tip and tail are soft while the middle of the ski remains fairly stiff to keep the ski stable in crud and tracked snow. Would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for one ski to do it all!

Does the Trick

K2 Phat Luv Ski - Women's

K2 Phat Luv Ski - Women's

Rating for this product: 4 February 23, 2009

These skis are great for crud and off-piste skiing. A good amount of side-cut helps the ski to carve while the stiffness keeps the ski stable at higher speeds. Would recommend to skiers who spend their time all over the mountain and just want one ski to do the job.

FUN!

4FRNT Skis EHP Alpine Ski

4FRNT Skis EHP Alpine Ski

Rating for this product: 4 February 23, 2009

These are by far some of the most playful skis I have been on in powder. The taper in the tip and tail lets the EHP just rip through deep snow. The skis are pretty much useless when you get out of the powder though. Would recommend to anyone who is looking to add a playful powder ski to their quiver.

Tough!

Salomon STH 16 Ski Binding

Salomon STH 16 Ski Binding

Rating for this product: 5 December 9, 2008

These bindings are built to last. They have a very solid metal construction with reinforced areas to ensure they hold up. The din ranges from 9 to 16 so you can really crank them down. Because of the metal components they are heavier then a regular Salomon bindings but still light compared to other bindings in its class. Great compliment for a powder ski!

Solid!

Salomon STH 14 Ski Binding

Salomon STH 14 Ski Binding

Rating for this product: 5 December 9, 2008

These bindings were built to last. They have some reinforced metal areas to ensure this binding holds up to some abuse. Salomon uses its fairly new toe peace design to keep this binding light and playful. Great binding for a lighter skiers powder setup or anyone looking for a durable park binding that will stay on for hard landings.

Can't Beat the Price

Armada Fleet El Rey Alpine Ski

Armada Fleet El Rey Alpine Ski

Rating for this product: 5 December 9, 2008

These skis are the perfect answer for all your money woes! Armada cuts the cost by using Cap Construction but sacrifices little of what makes Armada great. Still a solid wood core ski, but includes fiberglass to give it a great pop in the park. Also lighter then most Armada skis, you can ski it longer for more stability while keeping the swing weight down. Great ski for anyone who rides park and likes money!

Live up the Hype!

K2 Hellbent Alpine Ski

K2 Hellbent Alpine Ski

Rating for this product: 5 December 9, 2008

These skis are everything you would hope for and more. The rocker design is truly amazing in fresh snow. Having the tip and tail naturally pop out of the powder really creates a unique skiing experience and allows you to ski like never before. They can also hold up to some serious abuse. Keep in mind these skis measure longer then advertised with a 189cm being closer to an actual 195cm. Really this is only a concern for ski weight because the actual effective edge is around 140cm. This ski is perfect for anyone who wants a playful powder ski.

La Sportiva Katana Climbing Shoe

La Sportiva Katana Climbing Shoe

Rating for this product: 5 December 9, 2008

Another terrific LaSportiva shoe. The 2 velcro strap system actually does a good job of keeping the shoe nice and tight to the foot. Also held up to some serious abuse while keeping its performance. Recommend to anyone who wants a quick in and out bouldering shoe.

Butter

K2 Fujative Alpine Ski

K2 Fujative Alpine Ski

Rating for this product: 5 November 27, 2007

Love these skis! For the price you cant get a better ride. The fujatuve is durable with thick edges that wont break easily on rails. No ski on the market has a flex like the fujative, stable on jumps but nice and buttery for playing around. Highly Recommend!!!
