Pretty Impressed

Smith Holt Skullcandy Audio Helmet

Smith Holt Skullcandy Audio Helmet

Rating for this product: 4 September 12, 2009

got the matte white in medium. seems true to size, comfy, warm but vents well when hot out, has lasted hit after hit (structurally that is) and the audio sound is so crisp. i love the on/off button mid-way down the head phone cord...it allows you to hit a button and the sounds goes off. as you know, this is very handy when someone starts conversation with you and you dont have to roll down the volume or take out the actual ipod to shut press pause. my bern helmets (baker and macon) dont have this feature on the audio so it is a plus worth mentioning if you're trying to pick a helmet. the only thing is my left speaker quit working...but i did use the helmet around 50 days and bounced my head off the ground often in the park.

Bern Macon Hard Hat Helmet w/ Visor Knit Liner

Bern Macon Hard Hat Helmet w/ Visor Knit Liner

Rating for this product: 5 September 7, 2009

As one other person claimed...this helmet IS shaped for the round/spheric head. however, i dont understand leaving a negative review for the shape of articles of clothing...try the bern baker/muse for the more elongated/elliptical head.beyond that...this helmet looks pretty cool, it's unique, and indestructible. In case you are not on the know, many helmets are "one shot protection" and then they're trash. bern has a "hardhat" design meaning you can punish this helmet fall after fall. Very practical for hard charges, park rats, and for people trying to improve who crash often. cheap, attractive, practical....what else can you ask from a helmet?

Dynastar Trouble Maker Alpine Ski

Dynastar Trouble Maker Alpine Ski

Rating for this product: 5 July 12, 2009

I had the old troublemakers as well (with the 112-78-102 dimensions) and expected just another park ski. The new dimensions and flex make them a winner all-mountain ski with an advantage over other all mountains skis since they also excel in the park. They bust through most crud well and do fine in 6-10 inches of fresh snow, but fail beyond that. Icy conditions they are pretty average. good choice for the resort lover who occasionally dips into the park, and of course, you always have the option of skiing switch.

Oakley Inclination Jacket - Men's

Oakley Inclination Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 July 12, 2009

Styley, cheap, warm, waterproof, lots of tech/nice pockets for Ipod, wallet, etc... It runs baggy so size down if you want it to 'fit' only worry is if you ski trees. already have 3 tears in mine from small twigs and branches...fabric is not real tough. more of a stylish park/resort skier jacket that a bomber tree coat.

SO CLOSE, but booooooo!

Volkl Bridge Alpine Ski

Rating for this product: 1 July 12, 2009

The skis are awesome fun. Great one quiver ski but then I snapped them right behind my rear binding landing a front flip. They are this years!!! with about 20-30 days on them and Volkl would NOT warranty them, it pisses me off sooooooo bad when companys do not stand behind their product. I didnt even fall or land awkwardly.

Buyer beware. You may lose a few hundreed bucks. If you ski hard. Stear clear.

Review Title

Liberty Hazmat Alpine Ski

Rating for this product: 5 July 12, 2009

85% of the time (unless the pow is greater than 3 feet, then the huge pow skis get the nod) I rock my hazmats...Im 5'9" and 150lbs. Last year i rocked the 181s this year the 186s...they are amazing. Incredible versatility. I choose to center mount mine because i do enjoy riding switch 50% of the time. They do well in all conditions. For some reason, I can spin them switch better than any ski I have ridden before...even my park specific center mounted (Scott P3s (178cm) and Rossignol S3 (180cm)) skis...They also have the most unique flex...I wouldn't describe it as a stiff or a soft ski...the bamboo core puts the flex on the in between and is like no other ski I have ridden. Also, something I have not found to be true of other smaller companies (4frnt, ninthward, and Line<--who is now huge thanks to K2) The skis hold up. they dont de-laminate and break...they are durable. they do chip on the topsheet. I have given good reviews to other skis I ride and there are many great skis on the market, but it is my opinion this ski takes the top. Thanks Liberty!

Nice

Oakley Crowbar Goggle

Rating for this product: 5 July 12, 2009

Great visions, so wide and clear. The style is unlike any other and I have never had them fog. Negatives are the price (but they are cheap here :) ) and the durability (I have broken two pair of lens wrecking in the park) other than that they are perfect. Even with that into account I have a few pairs of these and it is all i will wear. They fit well with my Giro, Bern, and Smith helmet as well. Thanks Oakley.PS besure to check the oakley lens description and get what you need...people like my father have one quiver goggle style...he rocks the persimmon all the time...when it's bright out i cant handle them...gotta have a few choices :) In comparison (for those wanting a little more information) I also have Dragon DX goggles, Scott Alibi Limited editions and 2 pairs of spys. The crowbars top them all. I would rank the Dragons in 2nd place.

Really solid

Scott P3 Alpine Ski

Rating for this product: 5 July 12, 2009

I used the P3s as my go to park ski this last season (08-09). I uploaded a couple pictures as well. Check em out. Anywho, The P3 is very stiff and stable for a park ski, making it fun all over the mountain. Which I personally love. If your on larger features or a heavier person it is wonderful, smaller jibs can be a pain do to the stiffness of the ski. It is very poppy. It handles crud very well. obviously, with a 118mm shovel (ive got the 178s) it isn't a powder hound but i did use it in 6-9 inches of powder several days with no issues, and i was at true center mount. The biggest plus to this ski, DURABILITY. I destroyed several pairs of skis this last season, I couldn't break these things. the topsheet is indestructable as well. AND it didnt seem to lose it's pop like other cores do after 20 days of hard park riding. If this is your only ski and you live out west I'd pass and get something a little wider underfoot. If this is the ski you're rocking all the time except deep powder days...go for it.
