2010/2011 Rossignol Super S7

Rossignol Super S7 Ski

September 24, 2010

The limited-release, extremely coveted Rossignol Super S7 owes its super hero status to a big-mountain-worthy 195-centimeter length and the layer of confidence-inspiring titanal that Rossignol added to its wood core. Kryptonite, sun crust, mank, crud, and ridiculous deeps ain't got a thing on the Super S7. This high-octane beast slashes spines and surfs the deeps with the help of a rockered tip and tail, but the traditional camber underfoot offers stability and carve-ability when you hit the cat track on the way down to the lift lines. The Super S7's titinal reinforcement and extra length put to rest any complaints the community had about the standard S7—but Lord knows there was little complaining going on last year.

2010/2011 Dynastar Pro Rider 115

Dynastar Legend Pro Rider 115 Ski

September 23, 2010

A brawny wood core and 55mm of tip rocker gives the Dynastar Legend Pro Rider 115 Ski the chops it needs to pillage stashes of powder and burn down burly lines. Stuff the fat tip deep into the freshness and feel the powerful flex as the Pro surfaces quickly. Top and bottom layers of Titanal mean nigh-unshakable stability at full throttle and full-length vertical sidewalls add a measure of race-bred edge grip. Outside the slack-country gates or hammering out tram laps this beast treats you to a versatile, big-mountain ride like none other.

2010/2011 Line Stepup Ski

Line Stepup Ski

September 23, 2010

Line answers the call of advanced park skiers who want a stiffer ride with the Stepup Freestyle Ski. The Stepup utilizes Line's Skate Deck construction, which is a 7-ply maple veneer layup for a smooth, symmetrical flex. Then line adds two carbon Ollieband stringers for more pop and stiffness without adding weight. The icing is the symmetrical geometry and centered stance for true twip-tip freestyle performance

2010/2011 4FRNT MSP Ski

4FRNT Skis MSP Ski

September 23, 2010

Harvest deep powder all morning, lay waste to groomers before lunch, then float through the park on your way to the locker room; the 4FRNT MSP Ski opens the door to supreme all-mountain shredding. Deep inside the MSP's core lies a brawny MEGAblock wood core that gives this ski forgiving yet powerful personality. Outside, a dual radius sidecut lays out wide, maching turns when you tip it on edge at a shallow angle, and blisteringly-fast small-radius turns when its tipped over even further. Add a mid-fat footprint and fat tip to this bonanza of features, and the MSP might be the only stick you'll ever need to storm the hill from dawn 'till dusk.

Coal Theo Beanie

Coal Theo Beanie

Rating for this product: 5 November 28, 2009

Not much to say. It's warm and fits great. Just what I'm looking for in a hat. I get hot really easy and this hat breathes well and stays warm when I'm skiing. I even bought a second one.

GREAT BAG!

DAKINE Mission Photo Backpack - 1500cu in

Rating for this product: 5 November 28, 2009

I can agree with these other reviews. Dakine knows what's up when it comes to camera packs. I've used the Sequence for a while with larger video cameras, and now that I've got a smaller cam, this bag is great.

Ryan put it perfect... "The camera block just fits inside the pack and ads some rigidity to it so you don't have to worry about crushing everything inside."

I had an older Burton camera pack that didn't provide much support or protection for the gear. Touche Dakine. Nice work. I would definitely recommend this pack to anyone with a SLR setup, or smaller video camera.

One thing though.... the "bomber" color has a slight greenish tint to it, it looks more white in the picture. Not a big deal. It still looks great! I took a picture of it, but I'm not sure it's any better. Anyways.

189 = ALL MOUNTAIN NECESSITY!

4FRNT Skis VCT Alpine Ski

4FRNT Skis VCT Alpine Ski

Rating for this product: 5 June 5, 2009

I got a pair of the 189cm's last season and let me tell you. They're perfect for an all mountain ski here in Utah. These things crush it in any condition from chopped up stuff, to fresh pow, and even on hardpack they perform surprisingly well. I'd definitely recommend these to anyone looking for a forgiving all mountain ski... with a little more preference to pow/crud, than groomers.

You can't go wrong with these glasses, especially if you're looking for that classic aviator style pair of shades, and the case pictured is definitely one of the nice ones I've ever seen compared to Smith and Oakley cases.

Pretty cool!

The North Face Eight Track Jacket - Men's

The North Face Eight Track Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 June 5, 2009

This jacket is really sweet! It's got a great fit, and was true to the sizing chart for me. For the record, the hood can be stuffed into the collar and does store away. A nice feature I found when it arrived at my door. Too tough to tell in these pictures though.

V.I.O. POV.1 Camera Package

V.I.O. POV.1 Camera Package

Rating for this product: 5 March 23, 2009

I haven't really tried any other helmet camera units to compare to this one. I had the chance to borrow one of these for a couple of days I'm convinced that there isn't much to improve on. It's small, easy to use design is great and is barely noticeable while skiing. Oh ya, it also produces really high quality footage! I'm definitely planning on getting one of these things very soon and would recommend it to anyone.
