Much too puffy and much too warm. The extended collar will also inhibit you from staying cool during your runs. I'd go for the Patagonia down sweater vest or the R2.

Cute, funky, and cozy for sure. However, the jacket is much cuter on the rack than on me. It's a boxy fit that looked bunchy. I got an XS, and it still looked frumpy. I'd ordered the jacket as a splurge and realized that it would have been a waste to keep--too much money for the product--so, I returned it.
