I was excited for this hoody - I really was. But the material is thin, the sizing runs small (I usually wear a M but with Rip Curl I should have gone with a L), and the coloring is not what I expected. It is BRIGHT orange and green, not yellow and green. The green looks the same in person as it does on the site. I don't think it's worth $70.

First of all, this is the softest shirt I own now. I'd say it's a midweight shirt, in warmer weather it's too hot to wear but chilly mornings/evenings and colder temps it is ideal. No clamminess, wicks away sweat, keeps me from feeling chilled. I've worn it alone in cooler temps for runs and it was all I needed. And the logo embroidery is an awesome touch. I wear a M and am 5'5 and 140lbs, perfect fit.

I have a smaller, round face and these fit great - they don't slip, I run in them and they stay on my face just fine. The polarized lenses makes such a difference over my old non-polarized glasses, even in lower light conditions I see better. The nose and arm pads are soft and comfortable and don't chafe my skin.

I own these in a M and I am 5'5 and 140lbs and they fit great. They are super soft and withstand the tests of yoga, running, and lounging with two thumbs up. They seem to wick away moisture and I haven't noticed any pilling or anything like that. Yes, they are expensive, but for how comfy and durable they are, it was totally worth it. The internal key pocket is at the front of the waistband - it can hold one key and some cash comfortably, anything more and it will just jab against your skin.

I took the BC Cocona Shirt out for a few runs and am totally stoked on its performance. I never got clammy, it wicked away moisture like a champ and dried quickly so I never felt sweaty. Feels soft against my skin, no scratchiness here. I am 5'5 and about 130lbs and a M fits me great--not too tapered, not too loose, fits just right. No funky next day smell, either.

I have worn this jacket in Vancouver, BC and freezing temps in Utah and it does just as well if not better than my 600 down TNF jacket (which is heavier and bulkier). I got this one to downsize and I am not disappointed. It is so lightweight but so warm. The cut is flattering, I have had several people compliment it and ask where I got it. The sleeve length is great, a little past my wrists. I got a M and I am 5'5 and 130lbs. and it fits just right. It packs really well too, compresses well. Paired with my Ibex base layer I am doubly warm. I highly recommend the Backcountry.com Down Sweater!!

I owned last year's version of this Salomon shoe and I wore it in a size 7, so of course I got size 7 again. Well, I just tried them on and they are easily half a size to one size too big! I thought having worn size 7 before with Salomon I would have been okay, but apparently the sizing has changed a little since the other version. I love these shoes and am so bummed because now I have to wait until my size comes into stock.

Between the size M Webmaster Harness first strap (that goes around dog's chest) and the size M Approach Pack first strap, the Approach strap is TWO INCHES SHORTER. They are both described as 'performance fit'. So this pack would have fit if Ruffwear kept the dimensions the same - their size M says they are the same, but not so.

I bought the M (26in-36in) since my dog's girth is 31in and it does NOT in any way fit him! It is a good 4in too short around the widest part of his ribcage so I can't fasten it into place. The second fastener near the rear of his body closes just fine. I have the web harness size M and that fits him fine, he is a boxer/ridgeback mix, 70lbs., so the M should have fit him. Ruffwear's site suggests sizing down if in between sizes, but I would size UP. The tag says, 'performance fit' so maybe that explains the difference. The quality of this pack otherwise looks great and I own a lot of Ruffwear products but I have to give a low rating for the misinformation and inconvenience. Here's hoping the L works...

This leash does what it intends to do - it is meant as a training leash, with the collar to be worn high up on the neck of the dog, behind its ears. When the dog needs a correction, you gently tug on the leash/collar combination (like Cesar Millan) and it will briefly close down around high on the dog's neck. So if you want a more substantial leash because your dog pulls you all over the place, then this leash is not for you, because ideally the dog should not be pulling around the handler. I don't give this item 5 stars simply because the carrying case for the poop bags is a little too big for my liking, it feels bulky during the walk. Also, unless you can fit a pre-spooled set of bags so that you can effortlessly pull one bag out after another, then I am not sure how you can do that with this one if you just put them in yourself.

I can wear these Acorn booties without socks and my feet are toasty warm. The lining is so soft and comfortable, the soles are sturdy enough to take out the garbage or get the mail, I would feel fine walking around in them too or going to the store, I just wouldn't want to if it's wet out, I wouldn't want to ruin the suede. When I wear these with socks my feet are even warmer. Big thumbs up!

The Prana Core Dress is now my new favorite go-to outfit. It's comfortable, easy to care for, flattering. The seam pockets keep me from looking bulky when I have my cell or wallet stashed in them. Warm enough to wear now that it's getting cooler but was great in the summer too. Hits just above my knee and I am 5'5.

I got these for my 2 mo. old niece and she seems to love them. Hasn't even tried to pull them off which her mom is ecstatic about. Not to mention they don't hold odors and regulate temperature so she won't have sweaty, smelly feet. Highly recommend!

I like Klean Kanteen because it's stainless steel isn't coated on the inside like some other stainless steel bottles so there is no chance of anything flaking off and going down my throat. And I love the Goat logo, the powder coating gives me a better grip. 40 oz. is hefty to just carry around but great for camping or chilling in the fridge.

Diggin' the logo on this Klean Kanteen, the powder coating make the bottle easier to grip and 27 oz. is the perfect size for me. Fits in my bag and goes with me everywhere without being too big to want to lug around.

He is 8 and I got him a M and it fit perfectly, gives him a little room to grow into. He thought the tiger print was really cool and liked how soft this hoody is. His mom was stoked that it is made from mostly organic cotton and easy to care for.

This is why I love this bottle: food--grade stainless steel means no coating or lining on the inside that can flake off. I don't know why other companies line their bottles. It's light, the size is perfect for me, always have it in my shoulder bag. Love the Backcountry logo on it. Maybe it is just a placebo affect but water tastes super clean in it and I can add mixes to it when I'm on the trail. It does get dinged easily though, but I guess that's to be expected.

This isn't a burly-feeling hoody, but it does a good job in keeping me warm and for layering so I like that actually. I love its design - thumb loops, 3 panel hood that actually covers my head, chest pocket for my iPod and the color (denim for me) - but I think it's way overpriced.

This midweight does the job - keeps me SO incredibly warm I don't need to layer up like I usually do with a cotton long sleeve and hoody. Doesn't smell, fits great (I am 5'5 and 127 lbs. and got a S), and looks great for even going out to dinner.

Got this for a 5 year old, she lovvvved the colors, loves that she can flip it inside out. Her mom loves that it's easy to care for, hasn't seen any pilling. Keeps her warm while she's out playing too. And it got me 'cool aunt' points.

I got the white and it was a little too thin feeling for me. I also got a M and should have gotten a S instead, I'm drowning in the M even though that's usually what I wear so I think ti runs a little big. Even tried shrinking it with no luck. But I love the design and its quality otherwise is really great.

I agree that it runs big and unfortunately I had to return it and they didn't have my size which I'm bummed about because I love the suede feel and length.

I really don't like the cut on these - they come up way too high on my waist and I feel like my grandmother got her undies lost in my wash when I put them on. The cut is not flattering.

I love the cut on these Ex Officio undies. Very flattering, wicks away moisture like a champ, awesome for traveling. bring 2 pairs of these and you're totally covered, easy to hand wash and dries quickly.

They stay in place, keep me feeling cool, and are easy to care for. Easy to bring traveling, great for running too.

I love the design of this Dakine tee and I wear a S, and everywhere fits right except that the sleeves feel a little tight around my arms, but I know if I go up a size then the entire shirt will be too big and no longer flattering.

I got this skirt one size larger so that it would hang on my hips and give me a little more length and I am really happy with the result. This skirt feels substantial and durable and I can pack it without worrying about wrinkles.

Now that it is cooler I pretty much always have a pair of Smartwool socks on my feet. They don't collect any smell, I have washed them a lot and they haven't pilled and don't look worn. I will say the color has lost some of its luster but that is to be expected. They are the most comfortable socks I own.

I love the Burton Rodeo pants. I wear a base layer underneath, they would be perfect if insulated. Great length (I'm 5'5) and flattering cut even though they are baggy.

I got the Patagonia Undercover Cami and I am really happy with it. It wicks away sweat well. I got a S and it fits perfect, not too restricting but gives the support I need. I like wearing it under oxfords as well as by itself. Washes easy too - I machine wash and line dry. I wish it was just a touch longer though, it has creeped up a bit sometimes and I have to pull it down, but I know going to a M would be too big.

I love this shirt. It feels great on, but I too find it a little short, I keep tugging at it wishing it had an extra inch or two as it can ride up.

This bottle works well when I go to the gym, good size, not too huge or wide, etc...but when I put it in my Timbuk2 bag, the top of the bag got wet because it was pressing down on the bite valve. Makes sense on why it would do that, but it is annoying and not exactly leak proof.

I stalked this site waiting for more to come into stock, it sells out FAST. I got the S and I am 5'5 and 125lbs and it is a perfect fit and sooooo comfortable. The perfect summer skirt and so cute, I get lots of compliments on it. Has 2 front pockets and a back one. High quality. I am very impressed.

This frisbee doesn't hurt his mouth/teeth when he catches it. He also likes to play tug with other dogs and this lasts quite a while when he uses it for that - I actually have one for just tugging and one for fetching. It really does stand up to its name. Flies really well too!

This vest is the best summer buy I have found for my dog. He plays hard so gets overheated really easy and then spends all night trying to cool down. I got this vest and had him wear it while he fetched the frisbee and there was a huge difference. When we got home he was a little tired but not overheated or panting all night; after about 30 min. he could have gone right back outside to play some more. This vest reflects sunlight and when it needs to be 'recharged' I just get it wet while he's still wearing it. Perfect dog accessory for summer heat!!!

I love Prana stuff and have yet to be disappointed. This shirt is incredibly soft and comfortable. The mock button v-neck is really cool and I love the retro design. I heart Prana.

I got a M and should have gone for a S, these seem to run big. The material also felt a little thinner than I would have liked. I bet it feels good for summer though.

I have had at least one Luna Bar every day for the last 6 months easy. I especially recommend the Caramel Nut Brownie. Ooh, with milk. It's so yummy, tastes like a candy bar without the high sugar or fat or carbs. These are the only energy bars that make me not feel hungry anymore, I always have one in my purse just in case. They have saved me from eating pure fast food crap in a weak moment.

My dog loves to pull and I got this harness to take the stress off his neck and it did the trick. Now when he pulls, it is coming from a central spot on his back and not hurting him at all. This harness fits great, if your dog fits in between sizes I would recommend going a size up because the straps are adjustable and you can always tighten them a bit. Their fleece lining doesn't irritate him and he hasn't tried to squirm his way out of it yet either. Great for everyday walks as well as hikes.

This bottle is the perfect size for my purse. It chills quick when you put it in the fridge, I haven't noticed it denting easily, the design on it always gets attention, and the nozzle works great.

These are the most comfortable flip-flops I have ever owned! Fit me perfect, awesome right out of the box. No real wear and tear yet and I have had them for months.

Got these in 2003 and aside from one small snag on the back heel loop, you would never guess it. I brought them backpacking with me and although they add a little weight, they were awesome to have once in camp to lounge around and walk through rivers in.

I loved the look of these shoes and waited quite a while before my size came in. I love the roomy toebox but I also feel like I am wearing a recycled tire. They are bare bones, no real cushioning to speak of and maybe that is the point. If it is, I missed it.

I actually got a Men's S because I loved the fireweed color and it fits great (I'm 5'4). I have had this for months, it's been washed a lot and I haven't seen any pilling. It's my go-to comfort hoody and worth every penny. I will say that my dog's hair does find it's way into it. The Hood is nice and roomy too, you feel well covered.

I liked the narrow mouth because it's easier to drink out of, but hard to keep clean and when I saw it had the dreaded #7 plastic rating I tossed it and got a Sigg instead.

I love these pants, they move really well and are very comfortable. However, I went a size up from a 4 to 6 because even though the 4 fit perfect, they were too short and hit too high on my ankle for my taste. So now I have the 6 and they are long enough, if a little bigger at the waist, but I just low ride them and they work just fine.

I love everything about this jacket except the hood. It doesn't cover well enough and falls back off my head too often. I prefer an Arc'Teryx where I feel really covered.

I got the L and had room leftover for a week long trip that required a bunch of excess stuff. The shoulder straps are awesome, even if your bag is heavy you can handle it. If you use it like a backpack I would just be sure to pack heavy stuff accordingly. Super durable too.

I was worried about the knee patches hitting too far below my knees (I'm 5'4) but they align perfectly. These pants are super comfy and great in hot weather. They get a lot of compliments.

These are my favorite all-around shoes. I slip them on when my dog wakes me at 3 am to go potty, they have been awesome for running, hiking, even at the gym. Perfect fit, they even do okay if they get a little wet. And they dry easy when it's more than a little! And they do look awesome (I have the red ones).

With all the recent BPA controversy, I tossed my Nalgenes and tried one of these. I am really impressed. The perk is filling it up and putting it in the fridge, it cools down really fast and keeps liquids cooler longer. The same is true if left in the sun too though. Lightweight, no metallic taste whatsoever, and the 1L size is great for a day trip or running errands. No dents yet either.

These are great for the money. Obviously not meant to be windproof or too heavy duty but they do a good job as long as it isn't too cold. Love the grips too, they were great when driving on those cold mornings. They wash well too.

This beanie fit more like a cone than a nice tight fit like the picture may suggest. It's warm and looks great, just wish it fit better.

This fleece is my new favorite! It has awesome thumb loops and fits great - athletic but not too tapered. The sleeve length is perfect, it's totally warm even in windy conditions. I throw it on more than any of my other jackets, works great if you need a layer under an outer shell too. It's comfy, soft, and gets a lot of compliments.

This is a great fleece to lounge around in but is not meant to be windproof. Mine also pilled around the pockets after a few weeks. I love the extra sleeve pocket! It fits a little big too so go one size down if you are in doubt.

This is one of my favorite shirts! It runs a little large as most Prana items do (in my experience). It is warm and awesome for layering, looks great casually or even dressing it up a little. I get lots of compliments on it.

These glasses fit my face great, I have a rounder face but it is small so most shades are way too big looking on me. These frame my face better than any I have ever owned. They stay on perfectly too. MIne are gold but do pretty well in bright sunlight and I haven't noticed a heavy feeling. Everything seems so crystal clear, unbelievable clarity.

I have been stalking this jacket for weeks and got the best deal on this stie. Anyone who likes this jacket though, please be aware that it is NOT blue like the picture, it is LAGOON which is a dusky green color. It is performance fleece that wicks out sweat and is so warm and cozy (I am always cold). I don't notice wind get through much either. The sleeves are longer for the thumb loops and has a tailored, athletic fit (I got a S). It's stretchy though so moves with you AND the hood is detachable (attaches with buttons)! The stitching and details I get a lot of compliments on. Soft and warm with roomy pockets. I'll be wearing this all winter!!!

I already have a bag for my books and misc. junk so this carrier works great for just my Macbook Pro. Durable, washable, I'm very happy with it!

These Danskos I have had for years now and love them. My feet never feel tired even after 16 hr. days. But sizing for Danskos is different, they are meant to feel a little loose. I am a size 7 women's which is size 38 for Danskos. I went and got sized in a store first.

I got this hat because it is made of organic cotton and has an adjustable strap for a good fit. Wore it camping and threw it in the wash and it didn't lose its shape at all. Great hat and great price.

I took The Big A camping in the south in September so it wasn't quite cold enough for it yet but it handled the HIGH humidity really well. The zipper doesn't extend to the foot of the bag (which I prefer). Plenty of room for your head and shoulders, especially if you toss and turn a lot. And there's this extra cushioning pad at your head but on the top inside of the bag which was nice to wrap up in. Used a silk liner and slept in that with the bag mostly unzipped and was really comfy. Packed well in my stuff sack too (I didn't bring the airpad).

I love this watch and got a lot of compliments on it but the battery died after just 2 months. No worries, Backcountry has an awesome returns policy!
