Julbo Instinct Sunglass - Zebra Anti-fog Lens

Julbo Instinct Sunglass - Zebra Anti-fog Lens

Rating for this product: 4 September 13, 2007

I live 2 hours from any Julbo dealer but have owned their products and know of the quality so when I broke my first pair I automatically went back. I ordered these and loved the lenses but the frames were bigger than I liked and so I exchanged them for a different model (the typhoon). I will always use julbo, nothing compares, these just weren't my size.

friction free fritschi

Black Diamond Fritschi Diamir Freeride Plus Binding

Black Diamond Fritschi Diamir Freeride Plus Binding

Rating for this product: 5 March 29, 2007

I live in southern Idaho and hammer out a new line every week. The fritschis are easy to use, entry and exit is smooth and reliable and there's almost no friction when you unhook the heel and go for a walk. I also like how the design of the binding lifts your foot off the ski more than a traditional binding, making turns easier at higher speeds. The only thing that's mildly tough is releasing the heel when touring or on approach. You have to bend down pretty far and the release is stiff (which is good so it doesn't pop at awkward moments). It just takes a little practice. I love the binding and ride it on and off piste.

Faster is better

Black Diamond Verdict Telemark Ski

Black Diamond Verdict Telemark Ski

Rating for this product: 5 March 29, 2007

I've ridden loads of planks and, a few years ago, I settled on Volkl. Then I broke them on a wobbly landing and needed something new. I ride hard and can't afford a ski that is soft or slow. The BD verdict is now my choice. It's stiff enough to handle hard turns on hardpack and floats in the soft stuff super great. The shape and width make it a little stubborn if you're not going fast but open this ski up and the controls are fantastic. I would recommend you know what you're doing first because these can get away from you- but if you like stiff and hard, this is your ski. Plus the weight is amazingly light.

The North Face Vaporwick Light Boxer Brief - Men's

The North Face Vaporwick Light Boxer Brief - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 March 29, 2007

I use these mainly for running distances but would be comfortable in them all day long. They breath well and I don't get that annoying ride-up-the-leg issue. Very breathable, very comfortable.

Jump for joy

Under Armour Boxer Jock - Men's

Under Armour Boxer Jock - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 March 29, 2007

Any male who jumps rope knows the issues that come from lack of support. I love these for jumping. The support is excellent and the fit is very comfortable. I also recommend these for running or any other high speed, high impact endeavor.

CW-X Expert Tight - Men's

CW-X Expert Tight - Men's

Rating for this product: 3 March 29, 2007

I bought these hoping the hype was for real but noticed no real difference in how my knees felt while running. I like running tights, and as just that these are great - but as far as solving any joint or muscle issue, I didn't notice anything. The idea is sound, the execution just wasn't up to snuff.
