Therm-a-Rest Neoair Sleeping Pad

April 30, 2009

Mediums should be on the site sometime early next week (around May 4th). I would check back often, as these pads have been selling out rather quickly.

Excellent Backcountry Skiing Pack From The North Face

The North Face Off Chute 22 Backpack - 1325cu in

The North Face Off Chute 22 Backpack - 1325cu in

Rating for this product: 5 July 7, 2008

This thing does all that it claims to. The hydration compatibility is amazing. It carries skis and snowboards comfortably as well. I think my favorite thing about it is the back panel seat. The North Face really hit the nail on the head with this one. If you want a sweet pack, get The North Face Off Chute Pack.

Great flops

Sanuk Fraid Not Sandal - Men's

Sanuk Fraid Not Sandal - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 May 14, 2008

I ordered these about a month ago, and they turned out to be a great pair of flops. I went with the "orange" color, which turned out to be MUCH brighter than expected. The bright colors took a little getting used to, but once the shock effect wore off I really loved them. The footbed is super comfy, and they run true to size.

Sick Shoes

La Sportiva Crosslite Trail Running Shoe - Men's

La Sportiva Crosslite Trail Running Shoe - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 May 7, 2008

I got these as a race day shoe, and now wear them almost every day. they are super light and very comfortable. I sized down a half size from my Salomon's and the fit is perfect. They have virtually no break in period, and once they are worn out I know that they will make an excellent everyday shoe. They vent very well and keep your feet cool and comfy. I highly recommend them!

These socks are exactly what they claim to be...comfy, durable, high quality merino wool. For 3 pair at this price, they are a steal. Get them! Size wise, I wear a 9.5-10 US Men's and got the S/M. Perfect fit.

Excellent piolet

Black Diamond Raven Pro Ice Axe

Black Diamond Raven Pro Ice Axe

Rating for this product: 5 February 13, 2008

This tool can make for a super light self arrest piece when ski mountaineering. I would recommend something around 65cm for those of us who are 5'9 to 5'11. Packs light and could very well save you from sliding over that 90 footer below you. If weight matter to you (like most of us that tour) then fork up the extra cash for the pro over the standard raven. You won't regret it.

Great product for winter weather

CamelBak Stoaway Bladder

CamelBak Stoaway Bladder

Rating for this product: 5 October 1, 2007

This is the perfect solution to either a pack without hydration compatibility and to keep your water from freezing. The bladder and the hose are both insulated with a cap over the mouthpiece to insulate it as well. I use mine in my Black Diamond Covert pack. The Avalung is in one strap and the camelbak hose is in the other. Its a perfect backcountry system.
