First, the color Graze, not anything as pictured. Closer to the evergreen shown on the Montbell UL Thermawrap.
Weight perfect! Fabric perfect! Love the cuffs! Fit almost perfect!

Negatives and thus 4 stars for me.
1. No hood adjustments. Without a hat, the hood falls on my nose, blocking vision. Also, heading into a strong wind, the hood gathers air/balloons!
2. The snaps seem fragile like the material may tear when opening AND most important, the gaps between the snaps emit air in the wind.

Recommendation: Take the Stoic Hadron down vest, add sleeves, hem cord, kangaroo pockets, and hood adjustments, and I would purchase multiples!

If Patagonia can have a hood adjustment on the Houdini jacket at 4.3 oz. and Marmot has dual hood adjustments on the trail pack jacket at 4.0 oz., the team at Stoic can make it happen! I hope????

Bought one in red, liked it so much, but a second one in blue.
What makes it are the pit zips. Great for back country, snowshoeing, hiking and trekking. The inner thin fleece adds just enough warmth and extra wicking. Have worn in high winds and snow ... no adverse effects. The hood is unique in the it has a foam brim so it is easy to shape. It fits grat over a beanie ... not sure about a helmet.
Since the company is British ... it has a euro fit ... so I ordered a xl. I normally wear a med in marmot and lrg in north face ... go figure.
If you can get one ... grab it

I wrote a review on 12/1/2011 ... this jacket is great BUT!!!
The hood may allow a helmet underneath, or a beanie with a bill, but with no hat or something to stop the hood in front, it slides right over your forehead down to your nose.
NB:There an NO (nada) adjustments for the hood!!!

This jacket is awesome. When you compare the features of this down jacket compared with Marmot, North Face, MHW, and Patagonia ... one would be foolish not to buy the Anti-Freeze. It oozes quality. Down 93%, feathers 7%. 170g (6 0z.) of fill. 800 fill power, nice exterior fabric, only 14.4 oz total weight, and lots of pockets. Not mentioned, it has an internal security pocket. It is NOT a puffy jacket. I have a Patagonia down sweater and there isn't any comparison. Buy the Montane ... being on sale always helps!!!
Caution: review the sizing before ordering.

This jacket beats the competitors hands down! Of course, being on sale definitely helps.
Warning ... review the Euro sizing before ordering. I am 5'9", 165, and the XL fits fine with room to layer if needed.
The quality of construction, fabric, and insulation make this jacket shine. One note, like the Rab Xenon, the hood is designed for a helmet to fit over, not under.

Ordered this on a whim. Results: At 5'9" and 165, the jacket (XL) fits well with room underneath to layer. Most "Euro" jackets require me to "size up". Normally I would wear a medium or large depending on brand. Features: 133g of Primaloft Sport, elastic cuffs and 2 hem draw cords to cinch up snug, and high collar. Since it was 67 here today, I can't report on the warmth factor.
Downside: the interior lining may present an on/off issue if a fleece is worn underneath.

Great down jacket,warm, really like the reversiblw aspect, BUT, the collar is very loose around the neck. I could fit my fist between the inside of the jacket and my neck. Most of my mediums measure 20-21 inches from zipper to zipper. This one measures over 23 inches.
If this is not a concern ... BUY IT!!!

Had to return ... jacket is more like a parka, long body. Hood doesn't fold or zip in. The sunrise color is more bright orange than yellow. It's the great pumpkin look. BC needs to provide more specs like back length and weight etc.
