Thule Pivoting Tandem Carrier

May 12, 2011

I have not used this with a Recumbent but after looking up the length and size of the Rans Screamer Tandem it should be generally the same length (wheel base) as a standard Tandem and will load the same way. The nice thing about the pivoting action, is that it allows you to attach the front fork of the bike without taking the back tire off the ground. This allows for just one person to Load the bike with ease!!

Smith Stance Goggle

May 9, 2011

All the Smith goggles have very good ventilation to keep them fog free. The one factor however , with all goggles, is to make sure they dry out all the way before you store them away for the night. This will insure that you stay fog free through out the day.

Julbo Montebianco Sunglasses - Spectron 4 Lens

Julbo Montebianco Sunglasses - Spectron 4 Lens

Rating for this product: 5 May 6, 2011

The sun is no match for these sunglasses! If you are on Snow or Water and need some serious sun protection these are great. They are Super Dark, not for evening driving or indoor use so if your buying these for late night clubin' they may not be for you. If you spend lots of time outside, get some!! you will love them!

Saucony ProGrid Peregrine Trail Running Shoe - Men's

Saucony ProGrid Peregrine Trail Running Shoe - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 April 29, 2011

These are a very light and flexible shoe with a super aggressive tread for off road running. to see the flex check out the video below!Being a minimalist shoe it may not be the best for really rocky terrain (the shoe allows you to feel the trail) For smooth single track trails these shoes rule!!

Oakley Splice Goggle

April 11, 2011

The Grey allows 10% light transmission and the Fire iridium allows for 15% light transmission. If this is for super bright days.. Grey is the way to go.. Fire would be good for Bright to med days when it is a bit overcast.

Chopsticks Rule!!

Volkl Chopstick Alpine Ski

Volkl Chopstick Alpine Ski

Rating for this product: 5 March 13, 2009

If you need a fat ski that will respond well with speed these are the ones for you. The reverse camber is not overly exaggerated which still allows for solid handling on the hard pack. For a wide reverse camber ski they are stiffer than most and will blast through any chop or crud you throw at them. I should mention that I have these Telemark mounted and as a Tele ski these are great at speed (they really do not handle well as a tele ski at slower speeds) If you go fast in pow get em' you wont regret it.

comfortable pants that will hold up great to anything you can throw at it.. go straight from the office to your local boulders. They are a bit stiff at first but after a few washes they feel great. Very comparable to a Carhartt but more stylish.

Great all condition glove.

Backcountry.com Stoic Inbounds Glove - Men's

Backcountry.com Stoic Inbounds Glove - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 January 19, 2009

Not gunna take these off. They have to be one of the best pairs of gloves I have owned. After two days of use the dexterity in them is great. They give solid grip on poles with the soft leather and are very durable.. I destroy gloves and these have held up great!! In my opinion they are a little less bulky than the Hestra counterpart. My hand is 8in from wrist to the tip of my middle finger and the Med. size was perfect.
