The inside is a complete gear racking system. It has its own gear loops. It is also padded around the gear rack so your cams and tools do rip it to shreds.

Asolo Power Matic 200 GV Boot - Men's

March 20, 2009

So after three years of wear. Great condition. Just make sure you use nikwax to protect these babies. I have gotten tons of extra use out of them by simply cleaning them regularly and coating them with water repellent.

Why only 4 stars???

Ride Contraband Snowboard Binding

Ride Contraband Snowboard Binding

Rating for this product: 4 March 26, 2009

Okay.. I will tell you a few down falls before the great things that are obvious. **These ONLY SHIP IN THE U.S.**1) If it gets really cold out. The band that fits over the toe "Will Snap". That sucks. I know 4 people that this has happened to up at Brighton Ski Resort in UT. FACT! (but dont worry to much on that. Ride will switch them out no questions asked. And Dogfunk will return anything if youre not 100% satisfied. 2) The Set up takes forever. Fact!! 3) On the outside of the binding is a lip that is supposed to keep your toe from twisting out. Sorry... If these are not strapped down insane tight? Than your front foot will slip over the lip. A majority of Riders that owns these has had this problem. Easy fix-make them super tight if you want to lean back for POW or Riding that tail into the lift line. Now the PROS.. The in and out of these is killer fast. Just one quick yank and KA-BLAM! Your done. Also the flex laterally is wonderful for shifting your weight over the board. Overall... Killer binding. This will become popular in the next few years with most binding companies.

Why did I try to learn on this board? Complete Ignorance.

Ride Concept UL Snowboard

Ride Concept UL Snowboard

Rating for this product: 5 March 26, 2009

So I only had been boarding a short while when I took this baby out for a few test runs. How do I say this? "THAT WAS A DUMB IDEA!" Why? With this boards flex and solid response & feel. I realized. I was not used to what some like to say, "BOMBING!" I did'nt know you could go that fast down a Mountain? If I did'nt fall over 50 times my first time out I would be shocked? But girls like watching guys eat it? That's what I learned?

So later I took this WhiteDragon out with some skills finally added under my belt. Finally I could keep an edge and it showed. The Same people that were laughin' were getting dusted. I recommned this boards flex and edge to any intermediate/advanced rider. Now if you will excuse me.... I have to go act like I suck at snowboarding so the girlies will like me again.

with any boot that now has several layers built into it. This boots has three alone. The cobbler is going to one. hate you if he tries to resole these successfully And second. Charge you a pretty penny. I once had the same question. I got a quote from the cobbler for these. 120$ to resole these. Might as well get a new pair!

Yep...They Tilt!

Ride CAD Snowboard Binding

Ride CAD Snowboard Binding

Rating for this product: 5 January 19, 2009

Looking for a binding that is incredibly durable? Super stiff for that Big mountain ride/All-terrain kinda ride? How about a binding that tilts? Ya.. I said tilts!!! This is one of the only binding I know that has a solid foot bed that tilts. It will be super easy on your ankles on those 7ft + Jumps at Park City. How about the knees? You want to keep those too right? This tilting foot bed will help with the strain and pressure on them too! have bad ankles and knees or dont wanna have them in the future? Tah Dah!

I use the XL size. And I use the 32 Lashed boot size 10. 32 lashed is a bulky boot so it fits perfectly. If you notice the front toe strap? There is a stretchy moldable indestructible webbing! Yep they stole that damn stuff from Spidey himself. So it will go over the toe and mold around the toe like a cap binding. So you can ride how you prefer! You wouldn't waste your time on a girls who cant respond right? So why waste your time on any other binding? Oh and the weight on these per pair is 4.78lbs.

Lost my first Pair. Bought another!

Backcountry.com Stoic Inbounds Glove - Men's

Backcountry.com Stoic Inbounds Glove - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 January 16, 2009

This is rare that I say this. I bought these babies after I tried them on at the Backcountry.com store. 6 werds! " Lost my first Pair. Bought Another!" So after being so impressed with them at the Canyons Ski Resort. I left them on the roof of my car? Well, I was disgusted with myself. I actually had a dream of them that night. I couldn't believe how much I loved them that I ran to the store the next morning and bought another Pair! Who does that?

Here's the scoop on them:

These are full grain. They will last longer if you coat them with nikwax every 5 outings or so. With some serious padding on the inside of the palm and bottom of the fingers. The glove is formed slightly with the fingers curled in so it has that athletic fit. (No it does NOT have a goggle wipe on it.) I wear a Hestra size 10 and the Large fit perfectly. The Large is a true fit. I even tried on the XL and its wider in the palm and a tinny bit longer in the fingers. But I have long fingers and It still would have been fine. These gloves did win an award for best fitting glove. And they were right! They were made in Sri Lanka? And last time I checked. Hestra is the private label maker. Shh. It was once a secret! So if you like the best made glove in the biz (HESTRA) and want to pay a little less. bingo bango Bongo! here you go. It compares great with the Hestra Vertical Cut in fit. but not as padded on top of the hand. But better padding on the bottom inside. oh and they are not bulky. as far as warmth goes. Its not going to be as warm as a mitten, or say a Black diamond Guide glove. But will be more durable.

Okay... I'm gonna go back to the Canyons tonight with a headlamp and see if i cant find my first pair.

Arc'teryx Gamma AR Softshell Jacket - Men's

Arc'teryx Gamma AR Softshell Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 November 28, 2008

No really folks.. I bought this jacket in the Inca Blue.. Wow! I went for a run in 30 degree weather. Perfect for running in fall and with base layer (like the new LIFA dry tech. from Helly Hansen and nothing else.) And this is hot Casual! I have never had so many compliments. Here's the Gnarledge on it. I'm 6'0 185bls. Perfect arm length for you usual long armed lerp, perfect chest fit I where a 44/42 inch blazer. Super Abrasion resistance. The lining has small amount of fleece in it to make it soft to the touch, just enough to wear it really holds your heat in which is AWESOMEAGE! And they added new padding in the Collar that I think is better then a heath bar on a ice cream sunday! Perfect casual piece too! Super stretchy. Little thicker than the Gamma MX. great for climbing, backpacking, hiking, and around town. even looks great with a pair of slacks. Do your self a favor. make the girl rethink why she didn't date you before. When they see you in this. You might even get a little spoonage! I did!

As thin as bubble gum! literally!

Arc'teryx S240 Sport Climbing Harness

Arc'teryx S240 Sport Climbing Harness

Rating for this product: 5 November 28, 2008

Don't waste your time on gear that really was last nights one-night-stand. I was at the climbing gym and found everyone walking up to me, including this hot little temptress saying, "WHAT!!!! This is insane!" I replied with a cocky swagger back, "Yes.. Yes it is... and that's why your gonna give me your number" This is literally as thin as a stick of bubble gum! Sure it's $100 and it should be more. I wore this harness all day, not one uncomfortable spot on it. Here are the SPEKS: The leg loops expanded nicely for my super-thick mt. bike thighs. My waist is a 34.5 And This fits perfect. If your smaller then a 34.5/35in go to the medium. Not gonna Lie.. I saw Spiderman wearing this harness yesterday. Now you know his secret. Gotta run,,, that girl is waiting for my call.
