Palmer Honeycomb 4 Snowboard

Just a great all-around board. I had a 162cm '06 model to begin with (with sweet Transformers-inspired graphics, please bring that back) which I actually broke within the first month of riding. Almost took the tip clean off, I think that board was a lemon. Under warranty, they replaced it for free with a brand new 164cm - even better than the first one! I was worried at first that the extra length and width (surprisingly wide) would be a bit much, but it's so light that it really doesn't matter. Absolutely destroys groomers, quick and nimble in the tress and bumps, and effortlessly floats through the pow. Best board I have ever owned. Just try to find one on sale.

Pow Gloves Assault Plus Glove - Men's

I'm disappointed when descriptions end up being false. There is NO eVent waterproofing in these gloves!! It's some stuff I've never heard of called "Hyperion" or something like that. Only 10k waterproofing, not the 30k advertised. I was REALLY looking forward to the eVent goodness. Backcountry.com, please change the description accordingly!

That being said, they seem like they could be OK, and they were cheap (on SAC), so I'm just going to stick with them rather than go through the hassle of returning them.

Great bag, but not as long as they say

Lafuma Pro 950 Sleeping Bag: 15 Degree Down

I've only used it in my house so far, but it is super lightweight and toasty. For you tall people, though (over 6'), this bag will not work. I am 6' and it is JUST long enough. I don't know why they advertise that it fits up to 6'6" (maybe there used to be a long version), but don't waste your time if you're tall.
