CW-X Insulator Pro Tights - Men's

November 8, 2009

I'm looking for the tights with the most knee support for alpine skiing. Not sure if it's the Insulator Pro or the Insulator Stabilyx. I have used a pair for the last 3 seasons and love them but have lost the tag and can't figure out which ones they are.
Thanx

Really warm-lousy leather

Swany X-Cell II Glove - Men's

Swany X-Cell II Glove - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 October 23, 2009

Great gloves- very warm and they allow fairly good dexterity. My only complaint is that the leather wears out very rapidly. I have to duct tape the palms and thumbs after 50 or so days skiing and by the time I get to the end of the year (100+) they are shredded. No response from Swany when I tried to contact them directly. I will probably continue to buy these because they are so warm, but would definitely buy something that was as warm that lasted longer.

Mountain Hardwear Sub Zero SL Hooded Down Jacket - Men's

Mountain Hardwear Sub Zero SL Hooded Down Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 February 19, 2009

Excellent jacket! Best down I've ever owned. Two small complaints. Zipper is virtually impossible to do up when the bottom of the jacket is cinched up to keep the Utah pow out. Also, the snap at the bottom won't stay closed when it's cinched up. I can get another, bigger snap, but the zipper is too involved to replace. Still wouldn't trade it for any other down jackets I've seen or tried.
