A Little Too Long..?

The North Face Adrenaline Gore-Tex XCR Mid Hiking Shoe - Men's

The North Face Adrenaline Gore-Tex XCR Mid Hiking Shoe - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 April 20, 2005

These are really very good shoes. The construction is first-rate and I like their style and looks a lot -- in all they seem a good value too. But why do I keep thinking that they're 1/4" too long for my feet -- when they're the right size and are no longer than my other shoes (and I know because I've measured them internally from toe to heal.)

Bryce Too Low

The North Face Bryce Low Hiking Shoe - Men's

The North Face Bryce Low Hiking Shoe - Men's

Rating for this product: 3 April 4, 2005

While the Bryce seemed like a good Men's shoe, I found it was too low (around the ankle) for my tastes -- and so I returned them and ordered a pair of North Face Fury Gore-Tex XCR Hiking Shoe (Mid-Height).
