Bibler Awahnee tent

Bibler Tents Ahwahnee Tent Ground Cloth

Bibler Tents Ahwahnee Tent Ground Cloth

Rating for this product: 5 March 25, 2005

For many of my outdoor adventure years I've heard about "bomb proof" Bibler tents. For some reason I’ve avoided purchasing one. But with the recent loss of my tent during a canoe trip mishap on the Colorado River I made the decision to buy an Awahnee model. I am not disappointed. On a recent winter camp trip to Wolf Creek pass Colorado during a fierce snow storm the single wall beauty performed up to its expectations superbly. I expect the Awahnee to give me many years of great service.

Black Diamond- Revelation backcountry ski pack

Black Diamond Revelation Backpack - 2136-2746cu in

Rating for this product: 4 February 7, 2005

I am pretty impressed with the Revelation pack. I like its top loading simplicity; just a zipper that goes all the way across. Also, the pocket for the shovel and probes is really handy. It has all the room you need for a day of backcountry skiing. I haven't used the hydration pocket, ski loops or helmet attachment yet.
