Only had these for a few months. Taken them on a few excursions in spring mountain snow, but nothing terribly deep yet. So far so good. Love the durability, waterproof yet breathable.

Love this helmet...

Petzl Ecrin Roc Climbing Helmet

Petzl Ecrin Roc Climbing Helmet

Rating for this product: 5 June 20, 2008

I actually have not used my new helmet yet. I have borrowed Petzl Ecrin helmets in the past climbing some teton peaks (Grand and Moran) and doing some extended spelunking. I really loved it and had to get one. Very comfortable. Easy to adjust. Headlamp fits great. It is breathable and didn't make my head overheat. All round fantastic helmet!

Love my Raven Pro...

Black Diamond Raven Pro Ice Axe

Black Diamond Raven Pro Ice Axe

Rating for this product: 5 June 20, 2008

Overall this is the best axe I have owned. I am 6'4 so I ended up getting a 75cm and it has been a great length for me. I use it for climbing peaks in the winter and spring months in Utah. Some have complained about the axe blade not being long enough but I have never had a reason to need more length than the Raven Pro. Its so light! Plus it looks super sleek and sexy.
