Race performance in a big mountain board

Blizzard Titan Pro Alpine Ski - Men's

Blizzard Titan Pro Alpine Ski - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 February 20, 2006

I got a pair of these about a month ago and I have not let them out of my sight since then! These skis perform like a super g race ski with the surface area of a big mtn powder ski. I knew these were not for the faint of heart the moment I got on them. If you are looking for a true big mtn gun, the 9.9 pro is the rig for you. To top it off, they are quite light with the wood and titanium combo.

Great all-around fatty

Fischer Prohete 106 Alpine Ski

Fischer Prohete 106 Alpine Ski

Rating for this product: 5 February 13, 2006

A great all around powder or touring ski if you are looking for something big. I have toured for years on the predecessor, the big Stix 106. This ski is fairly soft, has a generous side cut, and is very light for its overall girth.

Salomon XA Pro 2 Trail Running Shoe - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 June 2, 2005

Finally a shoe I can wear all day to walk, run or work in the yard and have no back pain! My Salomon shoes offer perfect support and flexibility. My only regret is that I didn't have them years ago!

bustin' out the Monsta!

Head Skis USA Monster i.M 103 Pro Alpine Ski

Head Skis USA Monster i.M 103 Pro Alpine Ski

Rating for this product: 5 January 17, 2005

This ski is a smooth combination of a super g race ski and a big mountain powder stick. It will remain stable at ludicrous speeds and blow through any imaginable snow conditions. Step up to the plate if you feel like taking on the monster!

vast improvements in paddle technology

Waterstick Karma Straight Whitewater Paddle

Waterstick Karma Straight Whitewater Paddle

Rating for this product: 5 July 10, 2003

After paddling for numerous years with an array of different paddles, I was pleasantly surprised to feel the difference in the performance of the waterstick versus paddles of the past. The trihedral shaping gives the paddler dramatically more power per stroke than any paddle I have personally used. I am able to brace more easily and roll more fluidly with the help of the waterstick. Add one of these "sticks" to your quiver and reap the benefits!
