Black Diamond Crossbow Ski

Black Diamond Crossbow Ski

Rating for this product: 4 April 30, 2003

I skied these all season and have been very peased. Its wide shape let it float in the pow. And because of the Densolite core it's very light, making it a great backcountry ski. They are a bit difficult to get on edge while skiing hardpack; for everything else they are excellent.

Black Diamond Sabretooth Clip Crampons

Black Diamond Sabretooth Clip Crampons

Rating for this product: 5 March 8, 2003

These crampons rock! A few things that set them apart from other crampons 1. the unique secondary point configuration providing more stability. 2. Versatility-these things can be used on steep technical ice as well as low angle mountain travel.(BD has done away with their “technical” crampon because this thing does it all) 3. very light.

The Ultimate Ski Sled

Rating for this product: 5 January 8, 2003

If your needing to carry alot of gear this is the way to do it! Last week some friends and I pulled personal gear plus 2 full turkeys and all the trimmings 6 miles into the Margy's Hut in Colorado. It was a long haul but there's no way we could have carried all the wieght in our packs. The sled comes with a super comfy hip belt and the bars are able to cross enabling the sled to track well while turning downhill.
