Summer Ski Camps

Break your piggy bank open and head for the snow. If there’s not enough in the piggy bank to get you to the southern hemisphere, get in your beater car and head for British Columbia. Going to a summer ski camp will take your skiing to the next level.

Here are some North American summer camps that can make you a better park skier or racer and some southern hemisphere mountains for the pow turns that can’t wait until winter. Either way, don’t forget the sunscreen and your sunglasses.

Ski Racing Camps

Chase gates on Mt. Hood’s Palmer Glacier. These week-long sessions run all summer and into fall. The days begin with freeskiing and then progress into slalom and GS training. Video analysis and world class coaches will help you start the next season a step ahead.

Argentina Powder Skiing

Head to Las Leñas Argentina with Whistler-based Extremely Canadian Guides for a week of powder skiing. Extremely Canadian times their trip during Argentina’s most consistent snow patterns. Be prepared for thousands of feet of vert at pitches over 40 degrees.

Park Riding Ski Camp

Sign up for the Camp of Champions before July 12th, and head to a private park on Whistler’s glacier. This camp boasts the largest exclusive terrain park of any summer camp. Their own T-bar and no lift lines means more laps than you can handle.

Mogul and Freeride Ski Camp

Head for a high altitude Mogul Logic Ski Camp in Australia this August with Planet Ski International. Some off-season training will get you ahead of the competition next winter. These comprehensive mogul ski training camps teach strategies and techniques used by the Olympian mogul skiers.
