Don Bowie
When Don isn’t bagging peaks on Baffin Island or the Himalayas, he can be found wrestling mountain lions with his bare hands for California’s Fish and Game Department. Impressed? To add to his resume of manliness, Canada-born, Bishop-transplant Don Bowie has returned from expeditions to Broad Peak, Cho Oyu, and the South Face and East Ridge of Annapurna, and has over three season’s worth of experience in the Himalayan Range. In 2006 Don, along with the K2 Shared Summits Expedition, summited the 28,253-foot peak without supplemental oxygen, sherpas, or fixed camps, and in March of 2008 Don has his sights set on Annapurna and Kangchenjunga in Nepal. Looking for alpine inspiration? Look no further.

| Description of Rossignol Jones Freeride Snowboard: |
 |
|
This freeride deck offers hair-trigger response and precision edge control. Its secret is a durable wood core wrapped in carbon-and-Kevlar reinforcements for snap, pop, and torsional stiffness. The Jones Snowboard's fast sintered base smokes down steep lines in Tahoe, and for Alaskan powder Jeremy gave it a directional shape with a generous tip for flotation.

Teton Gravity's Lost and Found Movie evokes the stoke like nothing else. You'll be lucky to make it through the opening credits before you grab your board(s) and run out the front door to ride the two inches of snow on that grassy hill behind your apartment.
