“Man, I wish I started skiing earlier” is something Will Cardamone can’t say. Will’s dad built him a pair of custom wood skis that he wore around the house as soon as he could walk. It wasn’t long before he tried to ski the stairs. Will started ski racing at age 10, but he dropped it like third-period French to focus on freeskiing. Still needing more challenge, Will switched to telemark gear and took his park-honed skills to big mountain runs and freeskiing competitions where he amazes even those without freed heels. With the help of Black Diamond and Cloudveil, Cardamone is taking it beyond the next level.
