  • How to Enter: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY to be a Backcountry.com Bounty Hunter. To register, visit www.Backcountry.com and obtain a Bounty Hunter ID. You must complete all required information to be eligible for the BBH Shopping Spree. Incomplete, illegible, duplicate, corrupted or untimely registrations are void and will be disqualified. Registration entries must be submitted by the individual entrant. All registration information becomes the property of Backcountry.com, Inc. when submitted and will not be returned to entrant.

  • Shopping Spree: Those that register as a Backcountry.com Bounty Hunter will obtain an ID number. Bounty Hunter may apply for any position for which they are qualified—although bounties are void for self-referrals. Bounty Hunter may also refer a qualified friend. In order for Bounty Hunter to earn shopping spree, all applications for employment must be submitted by the individual candidate (not the Bounty Hunter) and the resume must contain the referring Bounty Hunter’s ID. Shopping spree amount will vary based on the amount of advertised bounty for each position. See job description for specific bounty (shopping spree) amount. In order for Bounty Hunter to earn shopping spree, a referred job applicant must have a Backcountry.com Bounty Hunter ID associated with job application and must be in the stated position for 90 days. In all instances, earned shopping sprees will not be awarded until after 90 days of employment. Shopping spree amount will be determined by Backcountry.com, Inc; shopping spree can only be fulfilled on www.backcountry.com, www.dogfunk.com, www.tramdock.com, or www.backcountryoutlet.com and cannot take place on other sites not specifically named in this document; purchases from multiple sites will not be allowed. There is no limit on how many people that Bounty Hunter can refer. Backcountry.com will monitor referrals and reserves the right to disqualify anyone from being a Bounty Hunter (and therefore ineligible for shopping spree) if abuse is suspected.
  • Selection and Notification: Bounty Hunter that earns shopping spree will be determined upon completion of hiring decision. All decisions by Backcountry.com in relation to Bounty Hunter are final and binding. Anyone who earns a shopping spree shall be notified by email within 90 days of hire. The sole obligation of Backcountry.com is to send a message to the email address provided by Bounty Hunter at time of registration. The successful Bounty Hunter will have 14 days from the sent date of the notification email to respond. If the prize is not claimed within the 14 day time period, shopping spree is null and void. Return of notification as undeliverable, failure to respond to notification, failure to reach the winner and/or failure to provide required proof of eligibility and release(s) in a timely manner will result in disqualification.
  • Error Correction: Backcountry.com reserves the right to correct or change any and all printing, typographical or mechanical errors.
  • Eligibility: Bounty Hunter is open to legal United States who are 21 years of age and older. The prizes are personal to the selected winner and are not assignable to any other person or entity. Employees, officers and directors and their immediate families (spouses, parents, siblings and children and those living in the same households) of Backcountry.com, their affiliates, subsidiaries, consultants, contractors, legal, advertising, public relations, promotional, fulfillment and marketing agencies, and web site providers/web masters are eligible to participate.
  • Duration. Bounty Hunter ID’s will be issued until Backcountry.com determines otherwise.
  • Prize Limitations: The shopping spree is nontransferable and must be accepted as awarded. Shopping spree winners shall also execute a limitation of liability releasing Backcountry.com from any and all liability and/or claims resulting from any accident or incident which occurs when using product obtained via shopping spree. Advertised retail price for each product on the site will prevail. There is no cash redemption value for prizes. The prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion or offer.
  • Affidavit of Eligibility and Publicity Release. Where permitted by law, those that earn the shopping spree grant to Backcountry.com (which grant will be confirmed in writing on request), their subsidiaries, affiliates and those acting pursuant to their authority, the right to print, publish, broadcast and use, worldwide in any media now known or hereafter developed, including but not limited to the world wide web, at any time or times, the winners names, portraits, pictures, voices, likenesses, city and state of residence and biographical information for advertising and promotional purposes without additional consideration. Except where prohibited by law, winners will be required to sign an Affidavit of Eligibility and Release or forfeit the shopping spree. Failure to comply, or return any required releases and related documentation, may result in forfeiture of the shopping spree.
  • Taxes and Expenses. All applicable local, state, provincial, and federal taxes, if any, will be paid by the winners. These may include income and/or sales taxes based on the retail value of the prizes. Any shipping charges incurred by anything but our “free shipping” option are the responsibility of the shopping spree winner. Any and all expenses not specifically listed as covered in these Official Rules are the sole responsibility of and will be paid by the winners.
  • Financial Information. Winners agree to provide such financial information (which may include the winner’s social security number) to the Sponsors as is necessary for Sponsors to complete all necessary tax forms in order to comply with federal, provincial, state and local tax requirements. Failure to provide this information will result in forfeiture of the shopping spree.
  • General Terms. By becoming a Backcountry.com Bounty Hunter, each participant agrees to be bound by the Official Rules and decisions of Backcountry.com which shall be final on all matters pertaining to Backcountry.com Bounty Hunters. Backcountry.com and its agents, representatives, parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotions and fulfillment agencies and legal advisors are not responsible for and shall not be liable for: (1) lost or late, damaged, misdirected, incomplete, illegible, unintelligible, entries; (2) problems caused by telephonic, electronic, hardware, software programs, networks, the internet, viruses, worms, Trojan horses or computer malfunctions (failures, errors or difficulties of any manner); (3) failed, incomplete or delayed computer transmission; (4) any condition caused by events beyond control of Sponsors that may cause Bounty Hunter to be disrupted or corrupted. Bounty Hunter is governed by the laws of the United States. All Federal, provincial, state and local laws and regulations apply.
  • Disputes: Except where prohibited, Entrant agrees that any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of participation as a Backcountry.com Bounty Hunter shall be resolved individually, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in the State of Utah, and the law of Utah shall govern such disputes.
Backcountry.com shall not be liable for technical, pictorial or typographical or editorial errors or omissions contained herein. All trademarks or logos used herein are trademarks of their respective companies in the United States and/or other countries. All rights reserved.
