Hestra Heli 3-Finger Glove

Ranked #139 - Ski Gloves
September 1, 2011
I live in Vail, CO and ski every Saturday and Sunday, and sometimes during my lunch break. Last season I got out 47 days with almost 1,000,000 vertical feet skied. I purchased these gloves at the beginning of the season last year and they went with me everyday on the mountain. The claw design is amazing in that it gives you the ability to use your pointer finger, but still keeps those little digits on the end of your hand nice and warm. My only complaint is the lack of a waterproof membrane. I have the regular ones, without the gore-tex, and I really wish I had the others. I have used the Hestra wax, as well as two other brands to get these gloves as water repellent as possible, yet they still seam to get wet on those warmer days. I absolutely love these gloves, however, will probably be replacing them this year with the gore-tex version instead.
