This is an earlier model, but it gives good perspective on size and fit. As a kid gets bigger his feet will start coming out the sides. They can stand up back there till about 12-13 months.

We ordered this one online and I am thinking that the frame it broke. Does it have a metal piece that allows it to stand up? Or does it not have that piece? Fill me in on how you load and unload the child if it does not stand on its own? Thanks
