So, I just grabbed a pair of the 2009 Jah Love's. I was a bit skeptical about the dimensions: 167 / 140 / 157 mm + Ti plates. These are HUGE sticks and I was nervous that they would be "to much". Not so! I have 2 big powder days (9"to20"+ in Utah) on them so far and I really enjoy them. I run these with the Bomber Industries Bishop Telemark binging & the Crispi XR Dynamic Telemark Boot.(found here http://www.backcountry.com/crispi-crispi -xr-dynamic-telemark-boot). Most of my telemark bindings have failed me by the end of each season. However, the heavy binding and boot creates a bomber set up is ideal for driving this ski or any other really big and stiff ski. Especially if you are more of the 50+ days resort telemarker vs. light&fast backcountry dude. Again, this is not a "everyday" telemark ski, don't buy it if you don't ski 8"+ of powder. Also, not recomended for light touring because they are a tad on the heavy side. If you are into a really stiff & really really wide big mountain powder skis - the Jah Love would be ideal.
